Rating: Summary: Home sick for LA freeways and plent of drama in my life. Review: When I started reading Cheaters, women would walk up to me out of the blue, just to tell me how much they enjoyed the book I was reading. I was in the first few chapters, and really didn't quite understand why my reading was being disrupted by others. Well...I am hear to say, Jerome has got it going on! I plan to read each and every book he has written, in order. This book gave me reasons to re-visualize the commute I once had just to find, keep, and have love, sex, or anytype of relationship while living in Palmdale, CA. Most of all I appreciate the insight Jerome has given to his book from a Black Man's point of view.
Rating: Summary: High-spirited, romantic tale of life, love, and cheaters... Review: Cheaters, a novel by Eric Jerome Dickey, is not only wonderfully written, witty, and entertaining, but is also realistic and enlightening as well. Each character has his or her own unique voice. Cheater's, Dickey's sexy and sassy novel, takes readers into the Los Angeles singles scene. Dickey explores all the hassels of everyday life and paints a realistc view of life in general. Dickey takes us on an adventure in betrayal, seduction, heartbreak, and true love. Readers will fall in love with Chante, who is so unlucky when it comes to love; that is until she meets the right man- Stephan. Her emotions are so honest, and she is the epitome of the single woman looking for Mr. Right, only to discover that Mr. right wasn't so right after all. This insightful novel also shows relationships from both the male and female perspective. Chante and her best friends Karen and Tammy are soul sisters, and have stayed close throughout each trial and tribulation each has ungergone. They have been together when each has found love, lost love, gone looking for love, and gave up on love. From the male perspective there's Stephan and his best friends Jake and Darnell, who are living well with good jobs and promising futures. Stephan and Jake attract numerous beautiful women and believe the more the merrier. Darnell is married and stayed faithful, despite rough times until he meets a woman who truly understands him. The characters discover just how far they can push each other, and how in the end, cheaters will get caught, and so the game will end. You will love Cheaters, and will not want to put it down.
Rating: Summary: Everyone in New York is reading this book! Review: Let me tell you....this book is on the real! I saw myself, the person I was involved with, people I know, everyone is a mirror in this book. The games people play in relationships are so unnecessary, and this book brings some of those things to light. Along the way, you are brought to laughter when some of the predicaments Stephans' friends get him into, Chantes' girls drama and the parents of the two main characters. Eric Jerome Dickney is definitely an author to keep your interest.
Rating: Summary: Another Masterpiece Review: This is another one of Eric's masterpieces. The characters were real and their storylines were great. This book had me laughing, it brought tears to my eyes and it had me yelling out "Don't do it you're going to get caught." It was so good I couldn't put it down. I read it in three days and lost precious hours of sleep but it was worth it. In fact, I read this book right after I read Milk In My Coffee. That took me four days and I lost some sleep behind that one too. What can I say? Eric is awesome! Now I'm going to take a nap before my boss gets out of her meeting.
Rating: Summary: CHEATERS Review: CHEATERS IS EJD BEST, ALL THE CHARACTERS YOU WILL FEEL FOR. THEY WILL YOU WANT TO CHEAT BUT NOT GET CHEATED ON.
Rating: Summary: Playya Players - Play On!! Review: This is my first EJD book and won't be my last. The players and playettes played themselves and eventually, all good games/lies come to an end. I like how EJD gave each character their (chapter) giving you a chance to get to know them and how they "play." Eventually they all tie in and the cheating commence. The spark and wit of this talented author is shown through his entertaining drama. Characters come to life, scenery you can picture, and hurt feelings that sting like a bee. I enjoyed the book very much and look forward to reading "Friends and Lovers" that I just picked up.

Rating: Summary: GREAT BOOK!!!!!!!! Review: I have read all of Eric's books so far and I'm waiting on his new one, of course I am one of his biggest fan. I read all his book within two months and I fell in love with him (his stories really). Cheaters was so entertaining I admire Stephans tactic's on dealing with his ladies, I admire Chante's exploration to seek a "Good Man" and not to be seek mainly by dogs, and I admire the determination of Tammy trying to reach ger goals on becoming a singer/actress. Jake had some issue on his own which neede to be corrected, I dislike what he did to his fiance and what he put her through. Karen was a women who thought she was slick and plus she was very manipulative towards her friends, but she got her share. I liked Danille he was caring and compassionate and it's good that he carried out his dream but I wouldn't think he would of done what I thought he would of done at the end, that was a complete turn around. Great Work Eric.
Rating: Summary: WONDERFUL TIME PASSER!!! Review: It is funny how time passes by when you are reading this book. Even when I was not reading it, I was thinking about it. The characters in this book compare to so many. The events that happen in the book, happen to so many. I truly enjoyed this book and can not wait to read all of Eric's books. I am starting on another in just a moment.
