Rating: Summary: Fun and engrossing novel Review: Again, Deveraux uses her magical spells to weave together a great story about the Chandler Twins and their adventures. This time, this is about Blair and Lee, who was Houston's former fiance. They fall in love before their wedding even though Blair blames herself for making Houston unhappy. Then she wonders what Lee is up to ~~ every day he goes off on a mysterious errand and comes home hours later and more tired for it, while Blair works at the women's medical center.
Together, they are a team and unbeatable ~~ and this novel is a great escape from reality. Not as intense as Twin of Ice, it is still a gripping read. Once you pick it up, you can't put it down. Highly recommend this book for pool-side reading or waiting for those dance/karate lessons to be over.

Rating: Summary: Very romantic Review: Jade Deveraux is one of my favorite author. This book is romantice, smart and funny. Both twins books are very good, but I like this book better. Bliar wanted to become a doctor and she did. It's shows that if a man can do something a woman can also do it. She might even do better than the man.
Rating: Summary: Very romantic Review: Jude Deveraux is one of my favorite authors. However, readers should know that the TWIN books are a re-release of earlier editions. If you haven't read them, do!

Rating: Summary: Blair & Lee just aren't Houston & Kane! Review: One of the problems with this book is that when I read it I expected it to be as great as its counterpart: TWIN OF ICE. But it just isn't as good. I finished reading it just to see more about the characters from the first book. I suppose my biggest problem was that the heroine, Blair, slept with her sister's fiancee. Also, I was upset that the hero actually didn't know the difference between the sisters! Give me a break! I never felt the same feelings I had for Kane and Houston. Had the characters gotten together in a more honorable way, I could have possibly felt something for them.
Rating: Summary: Can't get over how STUPID the Hero is Review: The Hero, Leander, cannot tell one twin from the other. He knew them most of his life. Houston's hero, Kane, could tell just by looking at them, and he just met the ladies. He even slept with the "wrong" twin! Not very believable! And some reviewer for Twin of Ice said Kane was stupid because of his poor dialect!
Rating: Summary: Blair & Lee just aren't Houston & Kane! Review: Twin of Fire was the second of two books concentrating on the Chandler Twins of Chandler, Colorado. I found this to be the more interesting of the two because I felt character development was certainly more complete in this half of the series. Blair is an independant young woman who is struggling in the field of medicine when women doctor's were severely looked down upon. So not only do we see an interesting love story, but we get to see the struggle she faced as an early career woman. I recommend you read both, but take the time to savor Twin of Fire.
