Rating: Summary: On Wings of Time by Dolly Lien Review: Ms. Lien has brought us another intriguing fantasy story from Imajinn Books. This is the sequel to her debut novel, Dragon Witch.Tristan Sanct Joliet's father has decreed he should marry, but he still mourns the death of his wife and unborn child - killed by the black dragon, Sardon. While trying to imagine a woman totally opposite of his beloved Marisa, and one that will be difficult for his father to find and force him to wed, he rubs the strange magick ring he wears. Suddenly a woman matching the description he'd imagined appears before him! Navajo veterinarian Raven Walker is suddenly swept from her modern world of New Mexico into a world of castles, dragons and demons! The result is two people from very different worlds trying to understand each other. Tristan must learn to understand the strange words and phrases Raven uses, and Raven must learn to accept a world where people can transform into dragons. And all the while, an evil sorcerer attempts to steal back the ring he believes should be his. This was an intriguing story of two people who have much to learn before finding true love. Tristan must learn to let go of his past love and open himself to love Raven. Raven must learn that her hatred and mistrust of men not of the Navajo race is blocking her ability to find the love of her life. And they both have much to learn of each other's worlds. This is a wonderful story with intriguing characters, plus we get to revisit some of the family from Dragon Witch. I look forward to future books from Ms. Lien, particulary one for the sexy Alex!
