Summary: A hero to die for!
Review: I loved it!!! The characters were wonderful. Some scenes warmed my heart, others made me laugh. The sexual tension between Sabrina and Gideon sizzled, and the children were adorable. In my opinion, any man who's willing to take on a ready-made family is a hero is to die for!
I couldn't put it down.

Summary: One of the BEST Regency Romance Writers Around!
Review: I was pleasantly surprised with this book. Gideon acts like most men, not what most women would like men to act. He is determine to consummate his marriage and get Sabrina to love him. He very patient and understanding. Sabrina is wary and untrusting throughout most of the book. Which is one of few real complaints I have with this book. She never seems to understand that Gideon is not like the other man in her life. She is never emotionally strong enough to trust. The other compliant I have is that the book does not resolve the issue of Gideon's wealth.

Review: If you like a story that will warm your heart and bring a smile that makes others ask what you are reading, then this is the book for you. Annette has done it again with a delightful story that is sure to find a place on your "keepers shelf" It is also worth looking for her past selections. "Thee I Love" was worth the time it took to find this. I can't wait for her next book so I'm ordering it now.

Review: On the Waterloo battlefield, Gideon St. Goddard, Duke of Stanthorpe, agrees to marry his dying friend's sister, actually the man's sister-in-law, who is big with child. Sabrina's condition is a shock, but Gideon is honorable and wants something more from life after so much war and death. She is also beautiful and must marry or give birth on the streets. Having been married to a man who abused her and her twin sons, she keeps her boys safe out of sight, until she can break the news of their existence to this new husband of hers, a handsome rogue, who just might be that rarest of creatures, a good and honorable man. Gideon must adjust to life as a father, a frightening thought, as it comes so fast. The byplay between him and the twins, especially when he discovers who they are, and his heroism, in and out of bed, are a treat. He saves Sabrina and her children from a dire threat and breaks the shell of fear she has kept around her heart so long. This is a story filled with humor and emotion, family and love. It is sexy and warm, and made me remember why I began reading romance in the first place. Excellent!
