Rating: Summary: A great Halloween read!!!!! Review: "Riverxine" should take a moment to remember the difference between fantasy and reality. The witch as figure of fantasy is as well-entrenched in 20th century fiction as Elizabeth Montgomery in BEWITCHED. As a practicing Wiccan, I find any positive depiction of a Wise Woman to be a great step forward for our religion - not something to slam.

Rating: Summary: A fun read and "purrfect" for the season Review: As a small rural librarian, I must spend our library's dollars very carefully. I always buy Susan Krinard's books as I know they tell a good story and circulate well. This short story is a wonderful fantasy and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys a little magic in their life.
Rating: Summary: LIGHT-HEARTED WHIMSEY WITH DEPTH! Review: In keeping with the season, one of the best anthologies I have read, a great collection of excellent stories. A fantasy read. I especially liked Sue Krinard's story. It's nice to find a hero with integrity. I highly recommend it!
Rating: Summary: A bewitching romantic brew Review: This is a charming collection designed to warm your heart on Halloween. (And Riverxine should lighten up a bit -- no one picks up a collection of "fantasy romances" looking for a textbook on witchcraft! By the way, not everyone =knows= a "real witch" to interview. Real witchcraft bears the same relationship to fantasy romance that real men do to romance heros -- the name's the same, but we all know the difference between fantasy and reality!) Besides, BEWITCHED proves four times over that True Love conquers all differences, and that's the real magic of Halloween, "if you ask me"!
Rating: Summary: Magic Is The Way To A Man's Heart! Review: This is a collection of four romantic tales with a magical twist. My favourites were Saving Sirena,in which a lonely man finds a cat in the street, only to discover the cat is really a young witch who had a spell cast on her to remain a cat, unless she could find someone to fall in love with her without the aid of her magic;and Everything She Does Is Magick,in which a young girl is destined to have a child with a certain boy she just happens to love, but he does not feel the same,so it is up to her aunts to make sure he does...
Rating: Summary: Maggie Shayne's Witch tale is entrancing! Review: This is a fun anthology- perfect for Halloween year round. Maggie Shayne's modern tale with a witch who needs to be redeemed is a keeper!
Rating: Summary: from someone who has read alot for many years! Review: This is an awesome book of short stories....I highly recommend...just bought it and am on my second trip thru!
