Summary: This series just gets better!
Review: Seldom does the second book in a series exceed the first. Not the case with "Wild at Heart". While I thoroughly enjoyed the zany "I Got You Babe" that introduced the DeMarco brothers, I found this sequel to be even better. Alex's story has more suspense and less comedy than John's, and that's fitting for the big brother of the clan. Alex is a great hero - not perfect, but a perfectly real guy with his share of flaws. Val is a strong heroine. The Texas setting is fairly realistic, and the suspense element has a nice twist. Put it all together and you've got a book you won't want to put down.

Now I'll be anxiously awaiting Dave's story. . .

Summary: Great Read
Review: To be honest, I didn't think this one was as good as I Got You, Babe, although it got really good at the end. I just didn't warm up to our hero as much as I did to his brother in the first of the series.
But Wild at Heart did have it's moments. I loved the tiger scene (yes, it does take place in Texas and yes, there is a tiger) and I enjoyed the lowly deputy who was absolutely adorable. It had all the elements of a good story: strong leading couple, good action and great chemistry, but I can't help comparing it to the first one. Definitely check out both books. You won't be disappointed.
