Rating: Summary: Another great read! Review: I’m sure you are familiar with the books that have 4 separate stories by 4 separate author. Leisure books has given a new twist to series romance. They have created a series of 4 books by 4 authors. The Wild One by Elaine Barbieri is this first in the series. The others are as follows: 2. The Half-Breed by Bobbi Smith, 3. The Agreement by Constance O’Banyon and the finial book is The Loaner by Evelyn Rogers. I came across this by accident. Bobbi Smith is an author that I have read in the past and picked up The Half-Breed. I noticed Secret Fires across the top and was curious as to what that was all about. In the back of the book it provided the answer to my questions. Now I have provided them to you. To review The Wild One don’t be misguided by my 3 star rating. I just finished reading several Lorraine Heath books that were amazing so The Wild One did not stand out as a 5 to me. Since this is the first in the series it focus’s a lot on the McBride family and what the basis of the story is. The development of Tanner and Callie just did not flow for me. I guess I expected more conflict than there was. Tanner was thought to have killed Callie’s brother. When Callie meets him for the first time there is chemistry but you would think she would be a little confused about her feeling for a man who she feels killed her brother. You do get to learn about the McBride family and what a ... Tom McBride (Father) is. You also learn about his wife Clare who is a conniving mean spirited woman and what she does to drive the family away. All in all it is a good book to read. You definitely need to read it before you read the other books so that you have a better understanding of the characters involved.

Rating: Summary: Another great read! Review: Ms. Barbieri has done a great job in starting out a very interesting series of books. Callie is the perfect heroine, feisty but fragile, and Tanner brings new meaning to "strong, silent type." Their story is a classic, set within a larger story that promises to just get better and better. I have to recommend this one to all readers of romantic fiction.
Rating: Summary: Another Hit by Ms. Barbieri!! Review: This book has it all! Romance. Mystery. Romance. History. Romance... Ms. Barbieri can really bring the Old West to life. In The Wild One: Secret Fires, she gives us a family reunion that's exciting and dangerous. I can hardly wait to read the other three books in this series.
Rating: Summary: Great End Review: Very good book. I found the book a little boring in the beginning, but in the end it was great!!
