Summary: All in all, it's a winner!
Review: "The Morning After," is a great read! The suspense will keep you reading into the night. The romance will give you hope. The different characters will warm your heart and chill your bones. There is never a dull moment.

Temple wakes up in a lush hotel room alone. She has vague memories of a man's whispers and finds a marriage certificate with Michael St. Gerard on it. Temple drives back to her apartment in an attempt to go on with her life. She tries to put everything in to perspective and blames the amnesia on an old virus. She has only one true friend she can trust, Annette. They try to piece the mystery together. Things become complicated when Temple goes to visit a man she is told can protect her, Mark Challis, an ex-military intelligence officer. Suddenly she finds her life in danger, and she can't remember why.

Suzanne Forster weaves a story of intrigue, romance, and suspense that keeps her readers coming back. She's a talented author with an ability to give the readers what they want, a good book.

Summary: What a dissappointment!
Review: I picked up this book because the opening premise sounded like a winner--a woman wakes up in a swanky hotel room, all evidence pointing to a romantic wedding night, but she can't remember a thing. A great start, but Ms. Forster bungles this from the get-go with implausible plot twist on top of sorry cliche on top of irritating coincidence.

As other reviewers have noted, the romance is next to nonexistent--just about the steamiest scene is between the heroine and herself--and so the book relies on "Outbreak"-style suspense for it's energy. Unfortunately, the plot has holes the size of a Buick, and the ending was pure, unbelievable hokum; a man completely manipulates a woman's life--creating jobs, friends, isolating her in a remote location and messing with her mind, and making her pregnant--and in the end she forgives him everything. Sheesh! A very disappointing read from a fairly good writer.

Summary: Captivating
Review: I read this book in under a day, so it is a great lazy afternoon reading. It captured my attention from the first page and held it to the end. More importantly I read the previous reviews and disagree, I didn't find this a hard to read book at all. I discovered it to be one that held my attention until they found out just who was after the main characters. In doing so, I switched my focus from hoping that they would figure it out soon to hoping for a happy ending. This book has been added to my favorite books list, along with other works by this author.

Summary: GREAT STORY LINE, BUT.....
Review: I read this story in one night only to find the end disappointing. The book begin with a great mystery. The herion
wakes up in a hotel alone and married. she does not any memory of the night before. From there it's too much to believe that she is a 30 year virgin who is now pregnant, doesn't remember how, and never goes to the police. When she is referred to Mark for help, she trusts this stranger with her life even though she has doubts about him. At the end when she finds out who was behind everything and why, she forgives what every women would find TOTALLY unforgiveable. This book reminds me of a 19th century romance novel right down to the castle.

Summary: please hire a new editor!!!!!
Review: Maybe I'm too picky but poor editing has destroyed this book. The premise was good, the heroine wakes up in a fancy hotel apparently married with no recollection of how she got there or who her husband is and apparently people are now "out to get her". However this book was ruined by glaring errors and ommissions leaving the reader confused as to what is happening. Assuming that she must have been abducted and possibly raped (sorry any sex w/o a womans consent is rape whether it's violent or not), she goes to a doctors office and gets a message on her answering machine saying that there was no evidence of semen or std's but that she is pregnant. Now maybe I'm out of the loop as my kids are older but it used to take a couple of weeks before a pg test could tell you yes or no. And if there is no semen how or when did she get pg. This is just one example of many things that are never explained. I also never could understand Temple's reticence in going to the police. Ms. Forster tells an exciting tale but needs someone to help in the editing process. A good book should flow. You should not have to be backtracking to try and figure out what is happening. The editors hurt both the author and the readers when they allow books to be rushed to market without cleaning them up. This is the second book of hers I've read and I probably won't buy more.

Summary: Original and well written
Review: Suzanne Forster really did a great job! This book is mysterious, thrilling, sexy, and a total page turner. I've never read her before, so I'm really glad I found this book. This book was different than Linda Howard's White Lies, but if you like it you'll like that one too.
