Review: Lori Wick is my absolute favorite Author.
Her stories have the right amount of danger, romance, and comdedy that book needs. They leave you with a feeling of contentment. The hawk and the jewel was no different. I loved watching Sunny grow up, and become a christian, and seeing her and Brandon struggle to accept their feelings for each-other. also, you can tell how strong a writer's faith is through their books. the bible says, "and you shall know them by their fruits." i think Lori wick has done an excellent job on this book.

Review: Praise to Lori Wick for her outstanding and truly profound way of writing. "The Hawk and the Jewel" was the third novel that I read by Lori Wick but it is my absolute favorite--I finished the book in about five hours. It was just that good. This book is a must-read for all ages. You will fall in love with the spirited Sunny and hope that you yourself can find a love like that, which is shared between Sunny and Brandon. This book is full of excitement, mystery and of course romance. You won't want to put it down.

Review: Sunny lived in Darhabar until she was 13, when she found out her real family was in England. She struggled with the cultural adjustment and had an intense spiritual struggle before she became a Christian. A lot of the characters' problems were ones I can relate to. By analyzing the results of their attempted solutions, I realized what the Bible shows us to do about our problems. I just read this book for the third time and enjoyed it again. I think The Kensington Chronicles is Lori Wick's best series, but I like them all.

Review: The Hawk and the Jewel was a book that I cannot put down. I have read it more than once and it captures my heart every time. It is a love winding love story and teaches biblical truths and morals the whole way. The plot is excellent and the characters come alive with every word. I definately recommend it for girls and young ladies.
