Rating: Summary: refreshing contemporary romance Review: Firefighter Alex Shields saves Lauren Conway's life when the Courage Bay Courier building is on fire, but insists she is his EMT Dana Ivie, who is supposed to be in San Diego for training not in a newspaper building. Lauren corrects Alex and others insisting that she just moved into town recently to draw her comic strip Dee and Me. Alex believes her, but says her twin works for him. When Ivie and Lauren meet, both realize that there is more to this than just coincidence as they are identical twins. As the sisters investigate their connection, Alex finds himself attracted to the Lauren and she reciprocates. As they fall in love, however, Lauren believes that he thinks he loves her, but she feels that she is jut a substitute for his true love, her newly found sibling. Though twins seem to be a major percentage of the novel population, this refreshing contemporary romance is a fine tale that sub-genre readers will enjoy. The invigorating element is that Alex had a thing for Ivie; now he knows what love is all about, but to persuade Lauren she is the one is impossible due to his history. Though the mystery of the twins adds background that weakens next to the delightful "triangle" that is all in the mind of the newcomer. Harriet Klausner
Rating: Summary: Boring Read Review: I had a hard time reading this book, it was somewhat slow and boring. Also the fact that the main character still talked to her imaginary friend was corney at best. Yet, the book does have some good moments its just so few and far between.
