Summary: What was she thinking?
Review: All right- I usually enjoy reading Jude Deveraux's books. I don't understand what happened with this one. Love triumphs in the end, but did the characters have to be so cardboard? The spoiled brat, the spoiled brat, the amazing situation... la la la. Formula failed on this one, it's time to try something new.

Summary: Infuriating hero
Review: I really get cheesed off when the hero acts like a jerk to the heroine and she falls in love with him anyway. Thus, I was in a state of fury for the first half of this book. However, I've LOVED some of Devereaux's other work, so I hung in there, and the second half repaid my patience. I really liked the heroine; she had guts.

Summary: Her Best
Review: I think this is Ms. Devereaux's best novel. Like the Audrey Hepburn-Gregory Peck movie Roman Holiday, but with juicy delicious sex. And a happy ending for the princess and her commoner lover.

Summary: One of Ms. Deveraux's best!
Review: It has been several weeks since I read this book and I still feel as if the characters are with me. I loved this book and it is in my top 3 of Ms. Deveraux's works along with THE BLACK LYON and SWEET LIAR. I loved the characters, the time setting, and especially the humor. Who could forget the Carmen Miranda scene? I also loved the scenes when they were at home in Florida. If I ever could become a heroine in a book I would become Princess Aria. I would give this more than 5 stars if possible.

Summary: BEST READ OF THE SUMMER
Review: Jude Deveraux has done it again. This is by far the best read of my summer. The story of Aria and J.T. and there unlikely love is great. You feel sympathy for Aria and her ordeal right away and then you feel J.T.'s frustration and confusion. This is a book that involves you with the emotions the characters are feeling. You will laugh and cry. This book is definitely a keeper and a book that you will want to reread in the future.

Summary: Another Jude Deveraux favorite!
Review: Jude Deveraux is such a master at weaving a fairy tale and this book is just that. J.T. and Aria are such dynamic characters in their own right that it's only a matter of time before the sparks fly. The only reason why I give this 4 and not 5 stars is that the ending left me cold. Why take the time to write an awesome book and then leave readers with an anti-climactic ending that doesn't do the book justice? However, I will say that if you go on to read or have read Deveraux's A Knight in Shining Armour you'll find that the heroine in that story is actually J.T.'s niece and she offers a little insight as to how J.T. and Aria are doing. But that's another story...

Summary: Keeps You Hooked
Review: Jude Deveraux's Princess was the first romance book that I ever read, and after the first time, I read it so much that the cover is worn. After this book I couldn't wait to buy the rest of them. And I did. Someone's trying to kill her. The Princess has to put down all her stuffy pride and ask for help to keep her kingdom and herself safe. She gets the help, but also falls in love (With a commoner whom all of her subjects' like). This was a well written book that flows until the end.

Summary: A book is worthwhile for one sleepless night!
Review: Jude Deverauz once again prove herself as a best story teller among all. The characters are well written and the reasonability for the story is acceptatble. However, I do very much agree to those other reviewers that the ending should be revised because she is so eager to please a happy ending, that she might loose the control for the reasonability. It makes no sense at all the J.T has to go back to the States only because he is so hurt in the process. Aria has claimed to him that she wants him to stay and wants to marry him, I am not sure if J.T. has that kind of stuffed mind.
