Summary: The MacKenzie Series: Can't Wait for Novel 5 !!!!
Review: Come on Linda, bring on Chance's story!!! Starting with Wolf (Mackenzie's Mountain), then his children Joe (MacKenzie's Mission), Zane (MacKenzie's Pleasure) and Maris (MacKenzie's Magic), the series brings together strong passionate men with women who are more than a match for them. The heroines are likeable, and I believe most of us can identify with at least one of them. As for the MacKenzie men, I agree with a previous reviewer - Where can I get one of my own!?! Let's hope that Linda Howard writes brother Chance's story soon......

Summary: Where can I get one of these MacKenzies?!?!?
Review: Every once in a while you find a 'keeper,' a book that you don't lend out and you read over and over again, and no matter what is going on, when you're done reading a 'keeper' you feel that warm sense of satisfaction deep inside. I felt this way about Linda Howard's MacKenzie books. Wolf was a man in a million, and you had this feeling that Joe was definitely going to walk in his father's footsteps - and he did! The female characters, Mary and Caroline are both fiesty, challenging and hold their own against the MacKenzie men!

The books move quickly and her characters are well defined with distinctive personalities and depth. Wolf MacKenzie gave me tingles, Joe 'Breed' MacKenzie made me fly, and I can't wait for the next one! When I finished MacKenzie's Mountain, I didn't think any story could top it; and then I went right into MacKenzie's Mission and found it even better!

Linda Howard's MacKenzie books stand in a class of their own. She brings her characters alive with action, passion and emotions. When you read one of her books, you leave the real world behind and become a part of the story. Be careful though, this book is one of those 'just one more page' books, until you realize that you're at the end of the book!

Summary: Best out of body experience yet!!!
Review: I had never read anything by Linda Howard before. These two books generated such an emotional whirlwind within myself that I actually began to review what I want in my own life as well as a man. The dialog and emotion expressed at the hand of Ms. Howard gave me a sense of reality within the imagination wheel. I read her newly published double edition in about 3 days I couldn't put it down. The Mackenzie Men are what I think every woman wants in her life. Touching, sensitive, sensual! Relating to Joe Mackenzie was not far from my own world. I used to work for Colonel's and General 's and believe you me some of them can be just as intriguing physically and intellectually as any hard working construction man. Ms. Howards depiction of a man's love for a woman has touched my heart. I've heard there is a 3rd book out on Zack Mackenzie, I need to find it (SOON)

Summary: Her very, very best!
Review: I have read Ms. Howard's books since the beginning of time (it seems so anyway). I tend to reread her books because she's able to pack a lot of story into a relatively short book. Maybe her books seem short because I don't want to finish the book(s).Her MacKenzie's Mountain was outstanding and when MacKenzie's Mission came out I devoured it then went back and reread the first book. When Zack MacKenzie's book came out, again I reached for the 1st and 2nd books. Lo and behold, they are MISSING!!! I'm looking forward to Chance's, Maris', Josh's, etc. stories and hope that Ms. Howard has the time to develop these books. However, I CAN HARDLY WAIT TO REREAD THE FIRST TWO.P.S. I also loved the Dream Man and Angel Creek and several others but those were my favorites

Summary: The MacKenzies
Review: I read these books this past weekend! Joe and Wolf are a man's man and a woman's ideal man. I loved them! I couldn't get enough. I was only disappointed when they ended. These books made me hunger for the other family members!

Summary: HOT!! HOT !! HOT!!
Review: Joe McKenzie is a man of any woman's dreams. He is intelligent, strong, and passionate. And the heroine matches him step for step. Joe is in charge of a testing project on a new fighter jet. The heroine is the newest member of the design team, when the project starts to experience sabotage efforts. Naturally, she is the first one under suspicion. The sparks fly when the heroine realizes that although Joe and her are carring on a hot affair.. he still believes that she is capeable of betraying her country by attempting to sabotage the project. I loved the way the heroine, herself was represented as a very strong and forceful character. Although her love was in the army and capeable of keeping her safe, she was strong enough that she first looked to herself to solve her problems. I usually do not like the short romances because they tend to have milk-toast characters involved in transparently contrived passionate encounters. With Linda Howard I make exceptions. I purchase her books without even reading the "blurb" at the back.. they're that good. Renae
