Summary: I found this a pleasent read
Review: I have never been to Texas, but I went there in this book. The Agreement is about a love so tender and sweet it will melt your heart. It is also about a family that overcames their differences and learn to forgive. I did wish, however, that the Clare, the bad, bad, lady, had been punished more. But if you want a fantastic read and a travel through a historical time-machine, plus a beautiful love story, this book is for you.

Summary: I did not want this book to end
Review: I have read Constance O'Banyon before and liked her books, but this one is almost my favorite. Garret would be my idea of a real Texas hero. I'm twenty one, single and looking for someone just like him. Anyway, back to The Agreement; the storyline kept so inthralled, I wanted to read it in one setting. I coultn't of course, I have to work. If you have not read The Agreement, I recommend you get a copy now. You won't be sorry.

Summary: THE AGREEMENT IS WONDERFUL BEYOND BELIEF!
Review: I have read The Agreement three times and I will certainly read it again. It is the greatest love story I have ever read. Constance O'Banyon knows how to pull at the heart strings. She makes me laugh and she makes me cry with Garret and Lauren's story. Thank you Ms. O'Banyon for giving us such a gift!

Summary: I loved this book!
Review: I picked up this book, never having read this author, but I am now her fan for life. I love the way she developed the people, almost like breathing life into them. I found out this is a four book series, so I am ordering the other three. If they are as good as Constance O'banyon's, I will love them, too. If you haven't read this book, let me urge you to take a chance and let the author take you away to another place. you will love it!

Summary: To Say I Love You
Review: I read this book in one day. I simply couldn't put it down-which makes it almost deserving of a five star rating. There is no mystery to the plot, but the love story can not be faulted. The reader can feel Garret's torment in loving Lauren. He has to hold back his feelings of love until Lauren grows up and he can act upon them, yet remains devoted in his love for her. It was the first time I read a Constance O'Banyon romance and would gladly purchase another based on the quality of this hearthrob romance.

Summary: We passed this book around, and all loved it
Review: I'm a nurse and we always pass our books around to each other. I was third in line to read THE AGREEMENT. I agree with my fellow nurses--I want a man like Garret Lasiter!!! The story kept me turning the pages. It was a well plotted book. If I ever became an author, I want to come back as Constance O'banyon--her talent is awsome. Since reading THE AGREEMENT, I ordered as many of her books as I can find. You can bet they will be passed around the nurse's station. I am not reading Texas Proud and I'm hooked.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A tender and beautiful romance
Review: In 1882 Texas, Lauren McBride knows she loves Garret Lassiter. However, her father and her brothers reject anything Lassiter, as the family is their enemy. His killing of her father's favorite steed, even to protect her, did not help any relationship form. Though he loves her Garret breaks her heart, as the timing is wrong because she is too young and not a woman yet. All Lauren knows is that she must forget Garret and head east to live in Savannah as a lady.

Four years later, Lauren returns home to learn that her father demands she marry Garret if her brothers are to inherit the family property. She agrees to a marriage of convenience, but he wants more even as he hides his love for her and she likewise does the same. Happiness between a Lassiter and a former McBride seemingly remains impossible

The latest "Secret Fires" Texas romance, THE AGREEMENT, is a tender tale that continue the McBride saga. The story line is genial because the lead couple make a warm pair that readers will adore. Though this novel lacks the bite of THE WILD ONE and THE HALF-BREED, the novel furnishes the audience with much merriment in its own way. Fans of this series will only have a short wait in terms of a calendar but not in terms of desire for the release of the next novel, THE LONER by Evelyn Rogers.
