Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A humorous take on the Vikings... Review: A Viking warrior named Tykir is sent with two of his fellow warriors to "escort" a witch from England to a king who claims she has put a curse on him that caused his manpart to "take a right turn". This is where is gets tangled and out of control, lol, Alinor, the 'witch' is not a witch at all and she doesn't want to leave her home to follow some "oaf" to take off some curse she never put on in the first place. Alinor is considered by society's standards as "homely". She has bright red hair and freckles all over her body. She has never been looked at by men and she doesn't have any intention of attracting any, but Tykir, a gorgeous Viking becomes 'bewitched' with Alinor and the whole situation is turned upside down. This story is hilarious and Sandra has a knack of making her male heros extremely sexy and funny at the same time. This is the 4th book in the Viking series by her starting with--The Reluctant Viking, The Outlaw Viking, The Tarnished Lady and then The Bewitched Viking. Don't miss any of Hill's books, they are all hysterical and they will make you cry with laughter. =)Tracy Talley~@

Rating: ![2 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-2-0.gif) Summary: disappointed Review: As a follower of Sandra Hill I must say I was disappointed with this book. It lacked both her usually very funny dialog but also the plot just did not excite. If your looking for a good read try her other books this one will have you skipping pages to finish it.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: The Viking series Review: Great series...and DIFFERENT. I love historical romance but they sometimes tend to be too similar.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Great book! Review: Having read Sandra Hill's previous Viking novels, I anxiously awaited Tykir's story. I was not disappointed. THE BEWITCHED VIKING made me laugh out loud, and sigh, and almost shed a tear. The best scene of all was the one involving an eel skin tail. <g> Ms. Hill keeps getting better and better.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: WONDERFUL!!! Review: I adored this book. It had Sandra Hill's trademark humor, but so much more. Tykir is a hero I won't easily forget. I sure hope there will be sequels to this series -- stories for Rurik and Adam. And as to the cover...I loved it! Give me a good looking guy with a grin and a beckoning finger any day over generic flowers.
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Abusive Man, Friend is abusive...terrible book Review: I bought this book based upon the other reviews at Amazon and I have to tell you that I thought the "hero" here was a total tyrant. He verbally and physically abuses the heroine, who still "magically" falls under his spell. Blech. The "hero"'s friend threatens many times to just kill her and the guy never even balks at the idea. How can someone be friends with a guy who threatens to kill his "beloved"? These men in this series disgusted me. Their views of women are just outrageous...and the woman are pathetic for taking their abuse! I read alot of romance and I don't recall ever reading anything that upset me as much as this book. At one point, the female lead and her "pirate" see some slavers selling women and she urges him to save them...and he just shrugs....I mean, how can you love a man like that? I couldn't find anything to love about this man. I couldn't figure out why anyone would buy into his crude and abuseive behavior. I LOVE romances but this wasn't one of them. This was not romance. This was just sad.
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: A Disappointment. Review: I have read all of Ms. Hill's previous novels and enjoyed them immensely. I think that she was trying too hard to be funny in this book and as a result it was more like a sitcom than a historical romance. Ms. Hill has a wonderful natural flair for humor (which was evident in her previous novels)and she should just go with the style that she has used successfully in the past. Also, the heroine (Alinor ) came across as being rather annoying ( this is a trend that I have observed in other work by other authors lately). I gave it three stars because I did find it somewhat entertaining, but I hope that her next one will be better.
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: I like Sandra Hill but.............. Review: I have read all of Ms.Hill's books and enjoyed every one of them. This one wasn't what I would of expected from her. I had a hard time liking any of the characters, although there were a few spots in the story that made me laugh. The heroine in the story was constantly told how unattractive she was with her "red hair, freckles and too skinny body". The sad part was that I agreed with them. She wasn't even very likable.I know that Ms. Hill can do better and I will continue to buy her books. If you want a good read try her other books first.
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: Somewhat dissapointing Review: I have read every single one of Sandra Hill's books and loved all of them. This is the first one I was dissapointed in. Technically it was good, but it just didn't have her usual flair. I am sorry to criticize one of my favorite authors, but there it is. I just hope that her next book will be better.
