Review: This is an excellent read. It deals with two people coming to grips with their past and coming together to save a man who is on death row. It's gripping and makes you think about the issue of the death penalty. Carey is strong, but dealing with her beliefs in the justice system and her past with Seamus. Seamus is also dealing with griefs of the past and trying to come to grips with his past with Carey. This book deals with alot of issues from the death penalty to the pain of alcoholism. I loved all of Rachel Lee's 'Conard County' series, but this is the best of her books by far.
