Rating: Summary: boring Review: The plot is far-fetched. And oh, so boring. She has written so many good books- read them. Just save yourself some money and time and skip this one.
Rating: Summary: A rush job Review: This book has a clever plot and the first half of it has so much promise but then...it's as though someone else has taken over writing the book. The actual writing becomes amateurish and the unwinding of the plot is boring. I'm still a fan of Candace Camp and I hope the next book is better.
Rating: Summary: Disappointing but I had to finish the trilogy Review: This book wasn't a terrible book. But, I was so disappointed at how far fetched it was. We have watched Rachel and Michael's strained relationship at a stalemate through two books now. I think the readers deserved more. Rachel is a mouse in this book and is so out of it that she spends time w/ her "husband" on several ocassions but doesn't know it's him. Yes, he darkens his hair and has stubble but COME ON. What woman wouldn't recognize her own husband. Then, we get to watch this unrealistic story dragged out. In addition, the whole mystery is a little redundant and resembles the first two books in the trilogy (So Wild at Heart and The Hidden Heart). I was so disappointed in the story, but had to give the book three stars. It warmed my heart to see these two finally come to each other after a seven year estranged marriage.
