Review: the raven and the rose is the first book that i read by ms.virgia henley so far i have never enjoyed a historical romance as i've enjoyed this book. the story is so perfect that i can't find any fault. from the begining to the end its so touching and unforgetable.i love rossane and roger so much that i wish they really does exists. eversince this book i became no.1 fan of ms.henley and i would like to thank her for writing such a lovely story and keep up the wonderful work.

Review: This book is not worth the effort to buy it!! Ravenspur first thinks Roseanna is someone who sleeps around,then when he learns his mistake tries to marry her. Even though he is the same age as her father.I feel the characters and plot were very stupid and need rethinking. However I have read MANY of Virginia Henley's books and this was the first I did not want to finish

Review: This is the Virginia Henley that I love to read! Her heroes are strong and similar in each novels, but nevertheless, you love each individually. Her heroines are saucy, strong-willed, but loyal, dedicated and protective when need be. Rosamunde made sacrifices in 'Raven and the Rose' that brought tears to my eyes, but Rosamunde 'did what a woman had to do'.

Review: This was a good one time read. I would not want to read it again because I found myself annoyed with the main characters. All the problems she found herself in were her own doing. Granted, there was a lot of action and romance, I still found the book silly and trite. Reade it once, then give it to a friend. This one is not a keeper.

Review: This was the first book I read and it was pretty good but I hated the ending (or at least what comes just before) and I probably wouldn't recommend this book to my friends for that reason. Luckily I bought another book by this author or I may not have read anything else after this one.

Summary: I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: This was the first Virginia Henley book I read. It touched my heart. It was so amazing. I adored Roger and how much he loved Roseanna. Ms. Henley also put in the history in there that made me want to learn more about the time period. I laughed at some of the comments Roger made and I cried at that one part (whoever read it will know what I mean). All in all I recommend this book to any one who loves romance novels. This is my favorite book!!!!!!!!!!
