Summary: Expectant Mothers find Love!
Review: LILY'S EXPECTING, Ms Mallery's novella, gives us the story of the friendship of Lily, Rachel & Jenna and their current unhappy situation with each other. The women are all nurses and work at the same hospital. They have now reached the age of 34, have an agreement to be artificially inseminated if they haven't found Mr Right by now, they have also won $500,000 in the state lottery so now is the time. Lily's special best friend Jake has stood by Lily as she has been left at the altar, had a falling out with Rachel, had the artificial insemination (it worked the first time)and now has bought a house that needs some work on it and Jake's the guy that going to do it Lily is already 6 mos pregnant and can't but does want to be in it before the baby comes. Jake's used to this he is the man in his family and what a family we meet them all. This friends to lovers story is wonderful.
Ms Rimmer's RACHEL'S BUNDLE OF JOY Rachel is dealing with erotic dreams of Brad Pitt her hormones are very active. Rachel meets Bryce in the baby store, he's shopping for his new niece and she's just window shopping - she knows she's going to have a girl. Lots of humor and very emotional times in this novella for both Bryce and Rachel have family that are very dependent on them--they work together to make their world a good one! Very enjoyable secondary characters.
Ms Paige's JENNA'S HAVING A BABY Jenna's an ER nurse and noticeably pregnant she has a small accident Eric the ER doctor doesn't want her to drive herself home so he does. Eric is a tortured hero and nurse Jenna and her little one can heal him if he'll let her. The interaction between Jenna and Eric is wonderful--she's so good with him and he wants to be with her too. Rachel and Lily have put Jenna in the middle for months now but it looks like they will make up and just in time for Jenna to lean on them a little.
All 3 stories were great and a very enjoyable read.
