Review: I have been reading his books for the past five years now and each one gets better and better. This new book, "Not a Day Goes By," weaves together an amazing tapestry of some past present and new characters, in ways you would never imagine. Just as when I read Invisble Life five years ago, I finished this entire novel in one day. I could not put it down!!! E. Lynn, don't stop doing what you are doing and may God continue to richly bless you.

Review: I didn't know this new chapter was out until I saw it in the bookstore. I started reading it right there and finished before they kicked me out. I'm glad to see another side to Basil and that he handled Ava/Yancey with the slickness of a cat. I only wish the book was longer! I wanted to savor Yancey's disgust! Good work overall

Review: I think this book is by far the best E.Lynn Harris available. The characters were so engaging and thought provoking. I know several marriages that were called into question but went on anyway. This was a quick read and I was so sorry that it came to an end. Please ELH continue the story. There's alot left to say. That mother was a TRIP!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: INTRIGUING TALE OF MISDIRECTED LOVE
Review: Like all of E. Lynn Harris' previous novels, "Not A Day Goes BY" is superbly written. However, it is my least favorite. I did like how the author showed the tender, passionate side of Basil. On the other hand, Windsor and Basil sister's characters could been better developed. Also, there were too many unresolved issues and lose ends.

Overall, Mr. Harris is one of the best authors around, and I will highly recommend all of his books!

Review: Not A Day Goes By was beyond a page turner, I could not put it down. I kept telling myself that after the next chapter, I would start my laundry. Well, 2 and a half hours later I was on the last page, hating that it was over so soon. E.Lynn Harris is definitely the man! I really enjoyed getting reacquainted with bad boy Basil and Ms.Thang, Yancey. Though Basil is a bad boy, you cant help but to love him. Fine, arrogant, charming, romantic, and successful; what more could you ask for in a man, bad or not! Do not pass this one up!!

Review: This was definately one of those books that you can't put down. I think it touches on real issues. I always found myself saying "I'm just going to read one more chapter." Before I knew it the book was finished.

Summary: I can't believe you made me like Basil
Review: Mr. Harris, has once again woven a story thats pacing was excellent, so good that none of my Saturday chores got done because I couldn't put the book down. I love the way his characters from previous books show up in new novels. I used to hate Basil and now my heart and mind understands him so well I am actually praying for his spirit to heal. Yancy was even given depth that I can't wait for her to begin her healing process in the next book.

E. Lynn Harris's writing always leaves me wanting more. Wondering and worrying about these fictional people who have become my friends. I worry about them, grieve with them, and most of all, love their creator.

Love is love is love, whether it be hetrosexual or homosexual doesn't matter to me it's the words speak to my heart. I thanks E. Lynn from the bottom of my heart for educating me through literature. You had me since Just As I Am, and I shall continue to be a true and loyal supporter of your work.

Summary: Well Worth Purchasing
Review: I was hestiant about buying and reading this book. I have not been able to really get into E Lynn Harris novels. I had read 3 of them and did not really enjoy them. But, because I was hearing so many positive things about NOT A DAY GOES BY, and the fact I attended his booksigning and got some insight into his writing etc. I purchased the book. I was very pleased with my purchase. The plot was good, the twists and turns in the story were a real pageturner. I snickered at the conniving of Ava and Yancey, especially Ava. Just waiting on them to get their payback. And when Derrick appeared I thought Oh Boy. This is a good quick read that I will recommend to others.

Review: I got the book when I came out, and finsh it in one day. It was really good book. Still I'm not to happy with his work. I have read all of his books. The last two books were alright. Still it not his best work. Don't be to shocked if it doesn't move you as his great writing should.

Summary: BIG PROPS TO E. LYNN HARRIS
Review: Not a Day Goes By is by far one of the best novels by Mr. Harris. It tells the story of Yancey Harrington and Basil Henderson. It also brings back some characters from Mr, Harris' previous novels. The book is well written, and takes us through the ups and downs of Yancy and Basil's relationship. There is also Yancey's mother, Ava who is more like her sister, and she is such a mess. The only complaint I have with the book is that it was too short-I didn't want it to end. Continued success and blessings to Mr. Harris. I am anxiously awaiting your next one. Peace!!
