Review: I had gone through a terrible loss. It was a sudden death, a suicide. While in the Library, this book was just sticking out of the top shelf of the aisle I was browsing!! It gave me tremendous comfort, and I'll never forget it!!

Summary: The one book of a lifetime
Review: I read this book 15 years ago and it changed my life. It literally fell out off the library shelf. I have tried to find this book all over the world but unfortunately it was out of print. The book had a huge impact on me and changed my worldview for ever. This is the time when that statement "If you only read one book in your life, read this book" really applies.

Review: I read What Dreams May Come when it first came out. It is one of the best books about reincarnation that I have ever read, after all these years, I still have my original hardcopy, I have recommeded the book many times to friends and anyone who will listen to me. I am so happy that it is being reprinted, at last and very excited about the Robin Williams movie, I just hope the movie can live up to Richard Matheson"s beautiful book. My daughter died of Leukemia in 1978, reading this book helped me with my grief process. I have read it so many times, and I guess my only fear, when I read it the first time was that she, too, would choose to "come back" before I could see her again. Now I know that she is always with me and I have set her soul free to be "where she wants to be" Thank you Mr. Matheson for writing such an inspiring book.

Summary: Gives plausable answers to questions on the after life
Review: I am not a prolific book reader, this book I read nearly 15 years ago, and did not put it down untill I had finished it. The images it left have stayed with me all this time, I have recently tried to get another copy of this book so I can re-read it. I will keep trying.

Summary: Beautiful,moving story of unconditional love & soulmates!!!
Review: I still have my original hardcopy. Bought for nothing better to read while on a business trip, 20 years later it still moves me deeply each time I reread it. I have read no other book that describes the love of two souls and their journey as beautifully and movingly as this one. I loved BID TIME RETURN and loved the movie Somewhere in Time. WHAT DREAMS MAY COME takes you further on the journey to understanding what is meant by unconditional love, soulmates and the afterlife. Great gift for the people you love.

Summary: Life/death changing
Review: When I was fifteen years old, I found this book in a public library . That summer, three teenage friends of mine were killed in separate incidents. It caused great confusion for me about life and death and I sunk into a severe depression. Reading this book deeply impacted my views on the here and the hereafter. I returned the book to the library and could not recall the title or author. Since that time I recounted the story to friends and was sure it had been 'miraculously' delivered at the time I needed it. Now I anxiously await the reissue and am joyous to be able to read it again. Thank you!

Summary: This is an excellent book on LIVING after death
Review: My mother typed the original manuscript for Richard Matheson and I was privilaged to read a finished copy before they went out of print. I have never forgotten this book. The story is incrediably written from a firsthand perpspective. This gives you the ability to experience everything as it happens. I hightly recommend this book, however you get a copy.

Summary: beautifully written love story describing life after death
Review: Once again, as in "Bid Time Return" aka "Somewhere in Time" , Matheson has given us a main character whose purest motive is love and the sacrifices he makes in love's name. My husband and I were deeply moved by this brilliant novel. Both of us have lost parents and found this novel to be extremely comforting. We have decided to believe that what Matheson describes to be possible. We have recommended this book to many friends who have suffered the loss of someone close. Each person who has read it has been comforted. You will want 2 copies of this book: one to keep and one to share.

Summary: A wonderful tale of love that spans lifetimes
Review: I read this book many years ago. Now that the movie is coming out in October with Robin Williams, I hope to be able to find a copy again. I would heartily recommend this book. Richard Matheson does it again like he did with _Bid Time Return" (Somewhere in Time). The depth of his depiction of the Afterlife touches a resonant chord. Find this book!

Review: I read this novel many years ago and I have been trying to find a copy since that time. This is one of those novels that you can't help but remember. The descriptions of the afterworlds are so vivid and one is transported there. I have read many, many novels, however, this is one that has remained the most memorable.
