Summary: This book was the pits!!!!!!!
Review: Daniel-Ian was a very boring book. I was disappointed in it because it lacked the spark of her others. Ian's story was definitely boring: It took me forever to drag myself through it. I hope to like Serena-Caine better!!!!!.

Summary: ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!
Review: Finally, we have the story we've all been waiting for, that of Daniel and Anna MacGregor. From start to finish, I was absolutely enthralled. I couldn't put it down. We can definitely see where the rest of the MacGregors get their stubborn pride, dignity, will to succeed, and their passion. Daniel and Anna were as amazing then as they are now. It was a little weird for me to picture Daniel so young, but if you really think about it, he's never really aged, not mentally or emotionally. He's still as caring, daring, stubborn and pigheaded as he ever was. Anna is still the strong and willful woman that she was so long ago when she was determined to become a doctor. They are a fantastic couple deserving of their places as heads of the MacGregor clan. Also included in this book is the story of Ian MacGregor dating back to, what I believe to be, the time of the Boston Tea Party. It appears to be the beginning of the storytelling of the MacGregors of the old. The next tale is to be about Ian's aunt, Serena. I can't wait! I recommend THE MACGREGORS DANIEL-IAN and all of the other MacGregor books. You'll love them. Trust me!

Summary: Boring & too predictable
Review: I bought the book with much anticipation and was abit disappointed by the plot. However, due to the other great books by Nora Roberts, I kept reading, hoping something exciting would happen on the next page.... But alas, not to happen.

Summary: I found this difficult to read.
Review: I found this to be a very enjoyable book to read. If you want to read a book that goes straight to your heart, read Stolen Moments by Barbara Jeanne Fisher. . .It is a beautiful story of unrequited love. . .for certain the love story of the nineties. I intended to give the book a quick read, but I got so caught up in the story that I couldn't put the book down. From the very beginning, I was fully caught up in the heart-wrenching account of Julie Hunter's battle with lupus and her growing love for Don Lipton. This love, in the face of Julie's impending death, makes for a story that covers the range of human emotions. The touches of humor are great, too, they add some nice contrast and lighten things a bit when emotions are running high. I've never read a book more deserving of being published. It has rare depth. Julie's story will remind your readers that life and love are precious and not to be taken for granted. It has had an impact on me, and for that I'm grateful. Stolen Moments is written with so much sensitivity that it made me want to cry. It is a spellbinder. What terrific writing. Barbara does have an exceptional gift! This book was edited by Lupus specialist Dr. Matt Morrow too, and has the latest information on that disease. ..A perfect gift for someone who started college late in life, fell in love too late in life, is living with any illness, or trying to understand a loved one who is. . .A gift to be cherished forever.

Summary: So awful - unfortunately, not typical Nora Roberts' quality.
Review: I have read every Nora Roberts book out there (all I usually need is to see her name, and I buy it, no questions asked), and never written a review. But this book was SO BAD, I had to warn you all. The characters are boring (and not very likeable), the dialog is boring, the story is useless...

Summary: Loved it as usual!!!
Review: I loved this one sas I do all the rest. I would love to see the family completed (Matt, Ameila, and Adria)!!!!!! Can't wait for the next Nora Roberts. Especially if its a McGreagor!!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: Wow! Worth the wait.
Review: I started with the MacGregors with the grandchildren's stories in the MacGregor Grooms and Brides books, and since have read every other one. I have been waiting for the rerelease of Daniel and Anna's story. I was not disappointed. I guess I had grown to love the arrogant, meddling, sweet old man and Anna's quiet strength in the other stories so much that I truly cried in the hospital scenes, not just a sniffly tear, but real ones. I loved Anna's strength and early woman's lib attitude. She really was a match for the arrogant Daniel. Thanks Nora for the stories of this wonderful family. I even enjoyed Ian and Allana's story, although it pales in comparison to Daniel and Anna.

Summary: The first story was good, the second wasn't
Review: I thought that Daniel and Anna's story was great. I really enjoyed going back to when women weren't allowed to do anything and how Anna showed them wrong. I was a bit confused on the second story because I thought that Daniel was a full-blooded Scot. Did his ancestors move back to Ireland? Confusing and a little too short to bring out the characters. The Alan and Serena stories were my favorite and I enjoyed hearing about Daniel's grandchildren.

Summary: Great to learn about the MacGregor roots
Review: I truly enjoyed both the stories in this book. I have noticed a lot of criticism regarding Daniel's chauvanistic ways, but I thought it was an important part of the story to show that Daniel had to change his views and grow as a person in order to find happiness with the feisty Anna Whitfield. "For Now, Forever" is a lovely romance and I found it to be both touching and amusing. "In From the Cold", the second story in this book, goes back a few hundred years to tell the story of one of Daniel's ancestors, Ian MacGregor. I thought this story was wonderful! Ian and Alanna made a great pair and I really enjoyed the historical aspect of it. I would have happily read a much longer story about these two, but as it was it was still great!
