Summary: Fun read, but the characters are one-dimensional
Review: This is my first Nora Roberts book. I found it to be a fun read especially the context and environment descriptions were good (Monterey). Witchcraft would be more beliavable and more fun if it was a little more subtle. Morgana's powers would sound more exciting if was less dramatic. Anastasia and Sebastian's were good.
I have a problem with romance books who characterize the males always in the same one-dimensional way: Tall and incredibly handsome, they all look like a model. I would have enjoyed a more realistic approach.

Summary: Lots of fun for light summer reading
Review: This was the first Nora Roberts book that I read. I am basically a reader of "serious" literature, but we all need to take a break from that sometimes, and this was my break last summer. These three stories and their characters have a genuine power. I became very fond of the Donovans and their eccentric family. There is some fairly steamy sex and romance here and also some more serious stuff, particularly in the second and third stories about Sebastian and Anna, who are deeper characters than Morgana. The Morganna story, which opens the trilogy, is lighter, but Morgana's romance and decisions to change her life also are the catalyst tht allos her siblings to make some changes and grow as adults in their own right.

Summary: Donavan Legacy, by Nora Roberts
Review: One of the best romantic books I have ever read. If you like fantasy, and romance, this book is for you. I am re-reading it now. Ms. Roberts is an excellent writer, but this is one of her best. I wish she wrote more like this. The Witch theme is wonderful.

Summary: Enjoyable Reading
Review: Really liked this book with it's three intertwined stories. I found I couldn't put it down because I was so curious to find out what would happen next. I plan on reading more Nora Roberts books.

Summary: A wonderful book, and not just for romance readers
Review: I have been reading books by Nora Roberts for quite some time, and was again pleased when I started this book. I also enjoy science fiction and fantasy, and with this book came both romance with a little added fantasy. As usual, I found that I couldn't put the book down, and upon finishing this book I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was an additional book to the legacy. I was so captivated by the legacy, that it was a "mission" to find the last book, and I look forward to reading it right away.

Summary: Bewitching =)
Review: First off, let me state that I was skeptical going into this. I'm more of a Stephen King, Dean Koontz, and old V.C. Andrews sort of fan. When a friend gave me this book and told me to read it, I had no idea I'd be searching out more Nora Roberts books to read!

I was spellbound from beginning of the first story. Knowing a lot about new age subjects, I found that the author used some realistic traits of Wicca and added humorous and fantastic aspects for entertainment value. The book was completely positive and as someone who has been involved in the Pagan community in the past, I can say that the witchy antics, though a bit "out there" (hey it's not meant to be non-fiction!), were done in good heart and harmed none. In fact, it even portrays Pagans in a positive light!! How open minded Nora Roberts must be! It is difficult to find that when reading a book with such subjects involved.

All three stories are magnificently beautiful and will leave you wanting to visit the Donovan castle yourself.

Go, get it now! =)

Summary: Stories captivate
Review: I am not a lover of magical or supernatural stories but Nora Roberts made me love the Donovan clan. The dialogue and realistic emotions captured my attention. This is prime Nora Robert's material.

Summary: Grand trilogy... all in one book!
Review: I read these three books as they came out, they are probally what made me investigate Nora Roberts work more fully. I LUVED them all & in a small way wished for there special gifts, lives & loves. I think it's wonderful that they are now in this easy to give form, as I pass them on to all my friends & family. Do your self a lovely favor meet the Donovans. Blessed be.

Summary: Weak and Strong
Review: I thought that Captivated and Charmed were the weaker of the stories. I throughly enjoyed Sebastian's story in Entranced. I hope others do not quit reading the series because they read Captivated first... though it isn't a bad story! Just a little fast (but that all makes sense seeing as it was written for a monthly publication) I suggest the Dream series, which is my personal favorite, thus far

Summary: It's magic!
Review: Another winner! Nora Roberts is excellent! This book has 3 stories (Captivated, Entranced & Charmed) of 3 cousins with supernatural powers inherited from their Celtic ancestors. Each cousin has different capabilities (ie. witch, psychic and healer). The Donovan Legacy continues with Enchanted, which is the 4th book in the Donovan series. If you love a touch of magic, you'd love the Donovan series!
