Rating: Summary: What Is Her Problem? Review: Being that I've read the other book "Sex And The Single Sister" I understood how the build of the main character "Farah" was brought to life in Use Me Or Lose ME. I like the book but then again I didn't because after getting with Mr. Lenox she seem to get real soft and vey insecure towards any and everything it drove me crazy. But I love the whole plot of the book I enjoyed every part especially how she met Lenox. REad to your desire all I know is that I enjoyed it.
Rating: Summary: Excuse me.... Review: But this book is hot. Ever time I think it is slowing down it picks up. And it picks up fast....I think the trips to St. tropez and Jamaica make it even hotter. And that sexy Lenox...he is finger licking. This is better than Reid's first book! Which was OK.
Rating: Summary: Cut from the same cloth!!! Review: Farah Washington and Lenox Whitford are two of a kind. She's a successful news reporter, he's a wealthy attorney. Both are attractive and out to get what they want. Being Lenoxs' "woman" seems easy. When Farah realizes he can take her to higher places, she thinks she can take what he dishes out. Comprimising their morals, they use each other; and in the end some one's got to lose....or do they?
After reading 'Sex and the Single Sister', I loved the extension and development of Farah's character. Although I didn't quite grasp the ending, I would read another novel by Ms. Reid. I also like that she stayed true to real life situations.

Rating: Summary: If you're looking for Drama... Review: Farah Washington, age 27 is a force to be reckoned with. Young, talented, gifted, black woman rapidly moving upward in the broadcast journalism field. This lady has it going on. Her next goal for her career it to ascend to the early morning show, Rise and Shine as their leading host. The only thing standing in her way is the station manager, and fellow African American Joan Meyers. Drama is coming I assure you. You would think that Farah would have a hot love life but I was pleasantly surprised to find that she suffers the same turmoil that the rest of us do. Enter Lenox Whitworth, a fine upwardly mobile attorney who charms Miss Farah and makes a few promises that he actually keeps, but you guessed it, he's a cheater and a liar and Farah feels the effects of this as the rest of us do through weight gain and low self esteem, women you're feeling me right? Two self-centered creatures hardly make a lasting romance. As the story progresses feelings get caught up and the reader is hopelessly drawn into Farah's life and can't wait to find out what is going to happen next.I couldn't put the book down and I'm not usually one to read drama filled books so quickly. I really sat back one afternoon and totally enjoyed this book. I can't say that I knew where it would end up, there were many plot twists and at some points I was really pulling for my girl, and at other times, I was thinking that to be Harvard educated, she wasn't acting it. I think she was missing some heart-felt advice from her girls and this was a missing element in the book to me. It seemed as if she had one devoted friend but she wasn't much of a friend to her, which stymied their relationship. I haven't read the first book featuring Farah but it is on my To Be Read list now. If you looking for spicy, exciting weekend reading Pick up Use Me or Lose Me, you won't be disappointed.
Rating: Summary: good book Review: Good book. It was slow to get into but once I got started I couldn't put it down. Farah and Lennox were made for each other. Great sophmore effort by Ms. Reid.

Rating: Summary: Good Book!! Review: I found this book to be somewhat slow in the beginning but as it progressed it became a whole lot better and not to mention suspenseful! Farah's character seemed very strong-minded but once she met Lenox she became somewhat naive and weak and that main fact made the story kind of dissapointing.. but I must say that about half way into this book there will be full of unbelievable things that will have you stunned! So I would definitely recommend it!
Rating: Summary: I'm on the brother's side! Review: I had the pleasure of reading Ms. Reid's book. I actually read it after my wife did. And I really felt for the male character Lenox. I mean, it must have been hard for a man like that to be with a woman who was openly using him. He couldn't let down his guard without wondering what Farah would do next. She was conniving, vindictive, and selfish. I don't even think she loved that man. What Lenox wanted was a woman to understand him, but Farah never let down her guard at all as a female. Yes, he cheated but when you are laying up next to a ice pick at night, what's a brother to do? Anyway, he was a grown man and knew who Farah was from the get-up. His aunt warned him. I think Ms. Reid did a great job of letting me see the "other" side of the story instead of male bashing on the brother. She made me see his vulnerabilities and we all got them. This is one woman writer who has me as her fan.
Rating: Summary: All's fair in Luv....... Review: I read Ms. Reid's book in a day & it was DA Bomb!!!! The characters Farah & Lenox, start out on selfish missions of using each other to get what they want and along the way they find out what glitters is not alway gold. You've got two selfish individuals who will do anything to get what they want. While Lenox exposes Farah to the "finer" things in life, he also exposes her to heartache, lonliness and maybe even regret. They eventually figure out that they do complement each other & complicate matters by falling in love, having to evaluate their priorities and what really matters most. This book was such a page turner with a great ending leaving the reader wanting more. Their story was definitely worth reading. Hopefully, this isn't the last we hear of the dynamic duo, Farah & Lenox.
