Summary: I guess I'm the oddball...
Review: But I didn't really enjoy this book. All the other reviews I read went on and on about character developement... yeah, the author developed a couple of characters into people I didn't particularly like. Especially the guy. And I didn't quite understand how/when/why they fell in love. His redeeming qualities consisted of being a great kisser and hot. Um, okay. That's just not enough for me. I did enjoy some of the more comedic parts - I admit to laughing out loud at a couple of scenes. So it wasn't all bad... just not all that good, either. Definitely not a keeper.

Summary: A fun escape!!
Review: I found Melanie Craft by accident -- one of those "other readers who bought this book also bought ___" and I followed the links and then went to her website and read the excerpt and her author notes and was intrigued. I was a little skeptical, too, as I am with any new author, but got it anyway. I just finished it -- couldn't put it down! It was exactly the fun escape I was looking for! I loved watching Molly try to be Sandra and Sandra try to be seductive and Elaine just killed me. Bravo Ms. Craft. When is the next one?

Summary: I want a sequel.
Review: I loved this book. I felt like I knew the characters personally. Melanie Craft did an amazing job in developing the characters. I loved the quirkiness and honesty of the characters. I was rooting for Molly and Jake from the start of the book and at the end, I wanted more. This is the kind of book that you will put your kids to bed early so you can get back to reading. I would love a sequel.

Summary: a fast, fun read
Review: I read this book in one sitting. Molly Shaw is an engaging heroine who gets herself into some silly situations. I laughed out loud at a few of the fixes she gets herself into. This is a very fun read. I'm looking forward to more from Melanie Craft.

Summary: Funny, sweet and you won't guess the ending.
Review: I read too many romances and I'm picky; stupid plot twists, sloppy writing, and crummy characters will put the book in the trash and the author on the blacklist. This smart and funny book got read at one sitting, then read again to enjoy how well it all fitted together. The author takes a staple plot - mousy professor is made over into bombshell, then paraded in front of eligible billionaire - and stands it on its head by having her characters behave, well, like people. Does our tarted-up mouse catch the billionaire's eye? Sure - and he sees right through her. Is she willing to pose as his fiancee for three months? No, and she's not gentle about it. Do they get together in the end? Of course. And *she* rescues *him.* But you'll have to read the book to see how.

Summary: Where are the love scenes??
Review: I struggled through this book waiting for the first love scene because all the reviews I read said that after the two main characters get together romantically, the book actually takes off. Great character development. Great interaction between the two main characters. But when they finally decided to get down and dirty (not until page 258, I might add), the whole scene was 4 lines long.

I found NO character development in this book. I never even got the gist of main characters. To much conversation, not enough action. A very dull book.
