Summary: I am loving the book!
Review: I am on page 264 and I have loved every bit of it. I plan on going to check out other books by Lynda Curnyn right away. She did a great job with Bombshell.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great Light Read
Review: I enjoyed this book! It was fun, light, but still wasn't your typical fluffy "chick" book. A great author that I am going to investigate more.

Summary: I really enjoyed this book!
Review: I got this book not knowing if it would be as good as it was. I loved Grace's character. The more I read the book that more I could relate to her. Grace was real without being conceited or mean. She didn't have a fit when she gained weight and was open to finding love in a place she least expected it. I also loved the character of Jonathan. He was shy and sweet and a real woman's man. This is my first Red Dress Ink and I'll certainly be open to reading more.

Summary: Why Can't all RDI books be like Bombshell?
Review: I just don't understand why all Red Dress Ink Book be like "Bombshell" Good! This was the first book that I read from Lynda Curnyn and I really liked it.
At thirty-four Grace Noonan is still looking for Mr. Right and if that was not enough to deal with there have been a major sake up at cosmetic company that she works at. Instead the over-forty market that have been there bread and butter, they are going after the under twenty set.
This was a great book that left the reader with hope for not only Grace but themshelves. I just hope that all RDI Books are as good as "Bombshell" and those early year bad reads are done with.

Summary: An easy read
Review: I read "Engaging Men" and was happy to hear that the author would do a follow-up for Grace. "Bombshell" is a good, easy read. The ending was realistic, not the typical fairy tale ending. Could there possibly be a 3rd book? Let's hope so.

Summary: An undiscovered gem!
Review: Nice light read for summer. This book has a lot more to offer than your average "chick-lit" book. Unpredictable and funny, and also sensitively examines the difficult subject of adopted children's struggles to come to terms with their birth mothers' giving them up, mourning the death of a birth mother the heroine never knew, etc. A mature chick-lit novel for the 30+ crowd.

Summary: More to the picture than meets the eye
Review: Red Dress Ink has released some rather bland novels as of late, but I enjoyed Lynda Curnyn's first two novels and I couldn't wait to pick up Bombshell. Bombshell isn't as breezy as the back cover of the book makes it out to be; the plot and characters are wonderful and compelling. Grace Noonan is a blonde, bodacious, glamorous fashionista who works at a successful cosmetics company. However, beneath her glossy exterior lies a woman with much insecurity. Not only does her latest boyfriend turn out to be another Mr. Wrong, but her quest to find answers to her painful past proves difficult. Grace wants to fill the empty void inside of her. Is having a baby the solution to her problems? There are various interesting twists throughout the novel.

It was nice to get a clearer picture of the friend of Engaging Men's Angie DiFranco. Grace was somewhat elusive in the aforementioned book, but now the reader gets to know her in a deep level. And I'm surprised to see that this character isn't just another shopaholic, cosmopolitan-drinking city girl with dating dilemmas -- her issues are far more substantial than that. I love this novel; it reminds me of the great books that RDI released last year. The only thing that I don't like about Bombshell is Angie. I don't remember her being so whiny and neurotic in Engaging Men. Other than that, this is a great novel. Chick-lit with soul. Highly recommended...

Summary: better than i thougt it was going to be
Review: The first time I tried to read this book I didn't make it to the second chapter. But I picked it up again and didn't put it down until I finished (2:00am). I was compelled to find out how Grace's relationship with the sister might turn out, or if she and Michael were going to have an affair. But the main question to be answered was; could Grace really be pregnant after all (getting a period doesn't mean your not pregnant). It was like the author was teasing me with all the references to her weight gain. What a plot twist that would have been! I must agree with earlier reviews that her friend, Angie, was a little annoying. Overall this was a good book with entertaining subplots.
