Review: so I got this book and you know what its about from reading about
from reading above so i wont't go into that. If you have read the runnaway princess you know who dom is. I am sorry but after what he did in that book how was I supposed to like him. Frankly I didn't start to like him here after what he does. It was a good read but not one of her best. I like this writer, and some parts of the story I liked.

Review: SOMEDAY MY PRINCE is the spin-off of THE RUNAWAY PRINCESS, and the story of TRP's villain, Dominic. Yes, he was wicked in TRP, but he had so many reasons. He was the bastard son of the king, raised in a whorehouse, and treated with disdain. I knew I could rehabilitate this guy with the love of a good woman. But she had to be a woman who could kick his butt. She does. And nothing is more enjoyable than seeing a man get what he so richly deserves.

Review: The story and love scenes are okay, but it was hard for me to fall in love with the characters. I also had a hard time understanding why Princess Laurentina fell in love with Dom. Their relationship did not develop through the pages. Perhaps another one of Ms. Dodd's books would be better.

Review: This amazing book by Christina Dodd is now one of my very favorites. Bad boy Dom (from the Runaway Princess) is hired to find the secret of the wealth of Bertinierre. In order to do this, he must sneak in during the 25th birthday of Princess Laurentia as one of her suiters. His plan is to seduce the information out of the unsuspecting princess. However, Laurentia is not at all what he expected and he starts to fall for her, even as she is learning to trust and love him. Now Dom is torn between his duty as a mercenary and to his adopted family, and his love of Laurentia. The trick will be to satisfy both. This book was well written and had good characters and a nice plot. Laurentia was a perfect heroine- spunky, witty, intelligent, and loving. Dom is the guy from the wrong side of the tracks who only needs love to set him free. These two amazing characters are caught up in a story with intrigue and love, and is well worth reading. Review: This book was about average for Dodd. This is only the second book from her that I have not enjoyed the hero. It would be helpful to you to read "Runaway Princess" before reading this book. It explains the background of Dominic a little better than this novel. Princess Laurentia is looking for a husband so that she can continue her royal line. Dominic declares himself first her suitor, and then her bodyguard after a blotched kidnapping attempt. This book centers around the time of Laurentia's birthday, with most of the story moving within this time frame. Ultimately, Dominic is after a "secret" from Laurentia in order to gain financial wealth, but ends up falling in love with her in the process. SOMEDAY MY PRINCE does not have a lot of charm. I did like the heroine, Princess Laurentia. She came across in a much more pleasant manner than the hero. However, it was hard to believe that Laurentia would forgive Dominic so easier for his betrayal. Ultimately, this book is worth the read, but don't be surprised if you are a longtime Dodd fan, and are slightly disappointed.
