Rating: Summary: Absolutely Wonderful Review: Lauren Hill is an orphaned/widowed Countess who has fallen on hard times. After her husband dies, and the new Count 'throws' her out, she returns to her beloved home and the other orphaned children who make up her family. One day while trying to round up a very 'naughty' pig, she jumps a fence and lands on top of the most handsome man she has ever seen. Alexander Christian, Duke of Sutherland, thinks he has died and gone to heaven. Out of thin air comes the most beautiful female he has ever seen, she can't be for real! But she's real enough to knock the wind out of him while trying to run away from a 'carzed' charging pig! Of course Lauren is embarrassed and insists that Alex return to her home to clean up and eat. He doesn't tell her who he really is and lets her think he's a lost gentleman trying to find help for his lame horse. She doesn't tell him that she's a widowed Countess and lets him think that she runs an orphanage and farm. When it's time for him to leave, they share a kiss that sears their souls and each secretly regrets that they will never see each other again. She can never tell him of her past, he can never tell her that he's a Duke and promised to another. But...when they see each other in London at a ball, the 'can of worms' bursts open and complications set in. Can she trust him after he kept his true identity a secret? Will he ever find out the truth behind her being a Countess and what is he going to do with his fiance'? This is a great book!!! I read this in one sitting and could not put it down. Julia London is a great writer who keeps your heart strings twisted wondering 'if' everything will ever work out!!
Rating: Summary: Witty Review: Like the Devil's Love, some sections had me laughing out loud. And unlike other most other romance authors, she adds an epilogue to show what's happened a few years down the road. Most entertaining
Rating: Summary: GREAT!!!! Review: Ms. London's descriptive phrases make you feel as if you were right there...at the ball, in the pumpkin field, or in Alex's arms. I've been reading historical romance for over 20 years, and Julia London is one of the best yet!!! This is a must read!!!
Rating: Summary: This Book Should Get 10 STARS! Review: My GOD how can anybody say this was book was not good? I literally did not want it to end so.... I just started reading from the beginning again. I read Julia London's newest novel "The Dangerous Gentleman" and liked it so much that I decided to read all of her books. I read "Devil's Love" but out of all her books, "Wicked Angel" is my favorite. Never have I read a book twice. Lauren and Alex were so real. I really cannot fathom why ANYONE could possibly say this book was not good. I wish there was a higher rating than 5 stars, this book deserves it. She is definitely on my list of favorite authors. I can't wait until her next book. Julia, if you read the reviews, how about writing Arthur's story (Alex's brother). I sure would love to see him smitten by love. Keep it up Julia, you do know how to capture a reader's attention!

Rating: Summary: Three cheers for JULIA LONDON! Review: One of the best books I have read in a long time. Julia London is right up there with my other favorites: Juile Garwood, Judith McNaught. Keep it coming Ms London!
Rating: Summary: Thanks for a great book Review: Thanks, Amazon, for recommending this book. I was swept away by the emotion and literally cried at the end. I LOVED this book!
Rating: Summary: This love story is so exciting that I could not put it down. Review: The characters in "Wicked Angel" are so well drawn and the plot is so constructed that this story is very exciting. Miss London has presented Lauren and Alex, the main characters, as real people with feelings and emotions. I could not put down the book until I had finished it, and I wanted more, more.
Rating: Summary: Great story Review: The only part that I didn't like about this book is how hypocritical the herionne was. It was as if her honor was better than the heroes, and I didn't care for that very much.
