Summary: Another wonderful book by Julia London
Review: I have already read devil's love, the dangerous gentleman (which I consider her best novel), the wicked angel and I'm currently reading the ruthless charmer. I have to say that Julia London is a terrific writer that never lets me down. I compare her to my favorite authors Judith McNaught and Jude Deveraux.
I will agree with another reviewer that said her books are perhaps too dramatic, but that's what I like in a book: passionate love stories with the heroes facing many obstacles to achieve happiness. If that's what you like too go ahead and buy all her of books, they're great.
In wicked angel, Laurene and Alex meet at Laurene's country house without knowning each other's identities and fall in love. Thet will meet later in London, where she will find out that he is a duke and is engaged to be married soon. Despite this, they both can't deny their attraction to each other and they will be seen in public in a compromising position. Alex will have to decide whether he will go on with his engagement as planned or break it and claim Laurene. The book doesn't end here though as will find out of you read it as more decisions have to be made- which I'm not going to reveal now!
All the characters of the book are great, especially Alex!, the story is very well written and has a very funny beggining to balance with the dramatic ending. I strongly suggest you read this and all of Julia Lonodn's books as soon as possible!

Summary: Very ... nice
Review: I like Julia London. Her characters are understandable and not over the top as is the tendency in Regencies at the moment. Everyone wants to have strong (almost unlikeable) heroines. Wicked Angel is a very good sequel to Devil's Love with just the right blend of conflict and romance. A really good read.

Summary: Awesome and stirring
Review: I literally cried at the end when Lauren got so mad at Alex. This book was awesome and spactacular (notice I can't spell) and I loved it so very much.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Loved it!
Review: I loved Alex and Lauren. They are a perfect match. I can just picture them together at Rosewood! I will have to read another of Julia Londons books. I hope it's as good as this one was!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A VERY ORIGINAL BOOK
Review: I loved this book! First, Ms. London's writing style is head and shoulders above anyone I've read in the last couple of years. Her characters are so real they practically leap off the page and her humor is so smooth and subtle. But best of all, this story was truly original! Finally, someone with a fresh idea! I hope she is writing fast, because I can't wait for her next one. In the meantime, I can't wait to read Devil's Love.

Summary: EXCELLENT BOOK; WELL WRITTEN!
Review: I LOVED THIS BOOK! I HATE THAT IT ENDED. THE CHARACTERS WERE SO BELIEVABLE! THE LOVE STORY WAS HEART WRENCHING! I AM NOW A JULIA LONDON FAN.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Wonderful!
Review: I loved this book! The only reason it doesn't receive 5 stars is the weak beginning. I started to read this book, but the first 30+ pages were SO silly I put it down. The beginning of this book is one cliche after another, introducing all the "eccentric" secondary characters.

When I picked it up again, I skipped over the first bit and started again and was glad I did. This is a wonderful romance. I particularly liked the very real moral struggles both characters had to deal with in order to be together. It was refreshing to see the values and expectations of the time period represented so well.

Highly recommended (although I'd skip the first 30 pages).

Summary: THIS BOOK SHOULD GET A RATING OF 10 STARS!
Review: I reread this book because it was so very romantic. After reading this book I picked up "Devil's Love" but still found Wicked Angel my favorite. Alex was so very real to me. Julia London is definitely on my "Best Author" list.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I did not want it to end.
Review: I thoroughly enjoyed The Devil's Love, but Wicked Angel was incredible. I often caught myself vividly visualizing the story. Several of my friends have also gotten hooked. Julia London is brilliant.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: FANTASTIC!! COMPLEX, EMOTIONALLY POWERFUL LOVE STORY!
Review: I wasn't sure Julia London could top The Devil's Love--boy was I wrong! The love story between Alex and Lauren unfolds with riveting emotional intensity. You feel every bit of what the hero and heroine feel, and when they find their happy ending you want to stand up and cheer! The secondary characters are complex as well, no simple villains here. Ms. London creates believable, empathetic people in a fashion that shows she has a keen understanding of human nature. Now where is Magnus' story???? You can't keep me hanging! Fantastic job Julia! Now you just need to write faster...
