Rating: Summary: VIKING BRIDES Series Review: "When next I see this medallion, it will be around the neck of my betrothed."With those words, originally uttered by his father, Prince Eric Greyfell dismissed Brit Thorson's theory about the mysterious medallion she thought she was given for luck. But she knew he was correct. For the man who stood before her was not only her temptation - he was her destiny. Eric knew that Brit was the woman he was destined to spend eternity with. Now if he could just put an end to her incessant questions! For she was sure that she had seen him with her "dead" brother, Prince Valbrand - a man whose status Eric had vowed never to reveal. Rating: Summary: Brit Thorson's Quest Review: This last of the Viking Brides trilogy is a little edgier than most of Ms Rimmer's books and I love it! The last born triplet Brit is an adventurer, she was on Survivor reality show, and has the ability to live in the Vildelund, home of the Mystics, in the wild north of Gullandria. The book opens with Brit hanging upside down in her sabotaged and crashed Cessna Skyhawk with the Marriage Medallion necklace hitting her in the face. Brit gets herself out of the plane and is shot with a poison arrow by a young renegade thief. Eric Grayfell, the marriage medallion's owner, and her thought-to-be dead brother Valband find her. Brit wants Eric to tell her about Valdbrand and his death. He's in hiding even from Brit, he also wears a mask, and is trying to discover the plot to against the King and now Brit is just one more person to protect and take care of but Brit wants to take care of herself!! Eric's father has given Brit the necklace for *good luck* not telling her that Eric will know that Brit is his father's chosen bride for him. It's very entertaining to watch Brit & Eric discover love for each other amid the danger. The book is so well written and gives us some of the answers to the plot. In May '04 Valbrand has his own book a single title THE MAN BEHIND THE MASK. I can hardly wait!
