Rating: Summary: Ever Lasting Love Review: There are no time limits on love. Rendezvous With Fate by Jeanne Sumerix attests to the fact that true love never dies nor does it go away.Leela and Jack had a wonderful love affair while attending college. Jack felt they were destined to be married and live happily ever after. Leela wasn't ready to settle down, she felt there was much to see, much to change, and much to experience. She decided that leaving college and moving to Washington, D.C. along with some other college friends would be an opportunity for her to help make a change in the world. When Leela adamantly makes her decision, Jack is hurt and heart-broken. He says some ugly things to Leela, which makes her decision to leave the right one. While in D.C., Leela learns she is pregnant and returns to tell Jack the news. Leela finds out that he has left college and with another woman. Eighteen years later, both have gone on with their lives and careers. Leela decides to go back to college to finish her degree, only to learn that one of her professors is Jack. They are suddenly confronted with their past and Leela and Jack realize that they never got over their feelings for each other. They have much to consider in the days ahead, as Jack learns that he has a son named Alex by Leela. Ms. Sumerix's Rendezvous With Fate is a nice story revolving around two people consciously in love with each other but afraid to confront that love collectively. Although they will experience much hurt, drama, and disappointment, their desire for each other never ends. Will they be able to withstand the ongoing trials and tribulations that will confront their daily lives to achieve that special feeling again? Will their love truly withstand the sands of time? You will have to read it to find out. I give this book a rating of 3. Reviewed by Kalaani
