Rating: Summary: Enjoyable for People Who Don't Like Romances Too Review: I don't read romance but since I am a Hooper fan I read this. This was a very relaxing book and not as boring as most romance novels. There were the cliches' like walking on beaches and candelight dinners but the two main characters are so darn witty I enjoyed the banter and couldn't wait for more. This is a book that's perfect for a one day read ( if you start early ). I guarantee if you're stressed out, reading On Wings of Magic will get you through the day.
Rating: Summary: Warning - This is a reissue. Review: I got this book because it seemed to look interesting, and I was right. I couldn't put it down, and read it in one sitting! Kay Hooper is a great author, and as you go through the story, she lets you know things that you already suspected to be true. This was the first book of hers that I have read, but I'll be sure to read more of her books!
Rating: Summary: A Very Good Read Review: I got this book because it seemed to look interesting, and I was right. I couldn't put it down, and read it in one sitting! Rating: Summary: old fashioned 80s romance Review: Obviously the person before me only ever read her new suspence books, which are also really good. If you have read any of her books written earlier in her carrer (80s) you would know that they are full of cliches and alpha males and are still wonderful. I loved this book and I have read it countless times. What I love about most of her books, but especially her older ones, are her alpha males. So if you are not into them you won't like them.
Rating: Summary: WARNING: Not a typical Kay Hooper book!! Review: This was nothing like any of the other Kay Hooper books -- and I've read and loved them all. This was awful. I almost suspected someone else wrote it and put her name to it. It was chock full of clichés about incredibly beautiful women and ruggedly handsome men. Yuck! I kept reading, hoping it would improve, but it never did. Don't fall for it like I did.

Rating: Summary: Definitely Old-fashioned '80s style story! Review: While I loved the romantic interludes I was put off by the incredible beauty ALWAYS wearing extremely scanty clothing and terrifically handsome alpha male (not that that is too bad) but it was too predictable. Still it was a good steamy romance story and entertaining to read for Kay Hooper fans. I loved reading Kay Hooper's stories when I first read "Haunting Rachel". Was not disappointed reading this story but found it dated. I liked this story better than the Shadow series, which had less romantic interest but still good suspense. If you like this story, I recommend reading: "Finding Laura", "After Caroline", "Amanda", and "Haunting Rachel". I recommend these books highly to all Kay Hooper fans! A MUST read.
Rating: Summary: Warning - This is a reissue. Review: While this is a great book by Kay Hooper, it is from the now out-of-print Loveswept line. It was 5 stars then, but times have changed and now I would give it 3 to 4 stars. However, make no mistake, this is a reissue.
