Review: This is the first book I've read where the hero, the "Wild One", after initially being introduced as the "knight in shining armor" type, becomes a rather all-too-human character with obvious weaknesses and flaws. I thought Lord Gareth a little too wimpy at times. Juliet is cast in a typical unwed-mother role.The most intriguing character is Lucien, the "Wicked One", Lord Gareth's older brother!
