Summary: Unrealistic
Review: I guess I am going to annoy all of you 5 star critics but I thought that the whole plot was unrealistic especially for those times. An unwed mother with not a fear or condemnation from society? Give me a break. The hero is unlikable he is very immature. The older brother I guess was the only saving grace of the book.

Summary: I absolutely LOVED this book! (4 3/4 stars)
Review: I LOVED THIS STORY. I thought that Gareth was unbearably adorable..so he was a little immature at times, but he was only 23 and I for one, was thoroughly charmed by him. I adored watching him with Juliet and especially his interactions with little Charlotte. I thought that Juliet was his perfect match , though Ill admit that at first it worried me that she had been involved with his brother, but my fears were soon laid to rest as I watched their love grow. My only quibble with this book was that sometimes I felt like other aspects of the plot overshadowed the romance, but for the most part..I LOVED THIS.. A definite keeper..I cannot wait to move onto the next in the series!

Summary: I liked it!
Review: I thought The Wild One was a great read! I finished it in a single night.
I liked Juliet's strength of character and her soft side for Lord Gareth. I was amazed at the twists and turns the book took (I don't want to give it away!).
The ending completely took me by surprise, I just wasn't expecting anything like that to happen. Of course now I have to read the next book.
At first, Gareth didn't strike me as a good sort of character, he was too childish, rash and just not mature enough then he became something better. I didn't know about his particular job he picked up but I darned glad his brother was a Duke and can save him at any time.

Regardless, the story was intricate but I was able to keep up with all the plots and I can wait for the next installment.

Summary: A really terrific read!
Review: In 1776 England, Lord Gareth de Monteforte, dubbed by the Ton as THE WILD ONE, lives life to the fullest. He gambels his life away as a hedonistic rake who lives each debauching night to its fullest. Even the news that his older brother Charles died while fighting at Concord hardly disrupts his gaiety. However, everything abruptly changes when Charles' fiancé, Juliet Paige, and her daughter her arrive from the colonies.

Gareth is shocked when his oldest brother, Lucien, The Duke of Blackheath, wants to send the Bostonian back to the colonies. A dismayed Gareth steps in to intercede on behalf of the beautiful American and her child. This is exactly what that matchmaking Lucien was hoping would happen as his rogue of a brother falls in love and Juliet reciprocates.

THE WILD ONE is a sensational Georgian romance that brings to life the English perspective of the conflict with the colonies at the onset of the Revolutionary War. The story line is poignant and the characters are very interesting to read about as they deal with their differences. Danelle Harmon has started her new series about the deMonteforte family with a home run that will leave readers looking forward to stories about the remaining siblings.

Summary: um....it was ok
Review: In all honesty, I read this book a year or two ago and...well...it wasn't one of Harmon's best books. I agree that the hero was quite immature and really quite annoying. I thought that it was nice in the end when he turned out to be a man of courage but I usually like my heros somewhat...more intelligent and mature and well...a man. Gareth was like a boy in a man's body and it wasn't until near the end of the book that he figured out he needed to mature a bit to make his new life with his wife her infant child (his brother's, no less) work. I wouldn't NOT recomend the book because it wasn't bad but it's just not a book that I would start a friend out on to advertise this author. Danelle Harmon is usually an excellent author and I hope her newest book, "The Wicked One" will not dissapoint me.

Summary: A stunningly good read!
Review: Rarely does one find a romance that shows such character growth. Not to mention plenty of drama and humor. A terrific book.

Summary: Loved it, loved it, LOVED IT!!!!!
Review: This book was a refreshing and welcome change from the romance novels that I've read lately. I couldn't put it down. The hero, Lord Gareth de Montforte, is everything that a hero should be and more: he's strong, he's sexy, he's charming, he's courageous, he loves kids, and he goes to heroic lengths to make a future for his wife and infant daughter, risking his life in the process and winning my heart as well! If you like fast-paced, sexy stories, unique characters, an unusual plot, and books set in England, you'll LOVE this book. I did!!!!

Summary: This is one of the best romance books I have ever read
Review: This is a book that moves right along. You will not be tempted to skip pages just to find something intresting. I had to keep myself from trying to peek at the end of the book.
