Rating: Summary: A FIRST-RATE NOVEL FROM KATHLEEN GIVENS! Review: BRAVO! Kathleen Givens has done it again. IF you are looking for an exceptional historical romance look no further. Kilgannon and The Wild Rose of Kilgannon are two exceptional novels that will have you begging for more. I, personally, can not get enough of the Kilgannon clan. I will be on pins and needles awaiting more historical novels by Givens.
Rating: Summary: Totally Swept Me Away! Review: I didn't do anything at all yesterday except read this book! Absolutely could not put it down. I really liked the first book in this series, KILGANNON, but I absolutely adored the second. It's a grand adventure, wonderfully sad and touching and emotional, everything I want in a book.
Rating: Summary: Better than the first.... Review: I just finished this book and I cannot believe how much I enjoyed it! I love this series and I do hope that Kathleen Givens comes out w/ more to this or a different story. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I am in love with Alex and Mary. This was a great love story, great action, great everything! Please take my advice and read her two books! This one fabulously picks up where the other left off! Way to go Kathleen!

Rating: Summary: Another Fan for Katheen Givens Review: I read Kathleen's Kilgannon first. I really enjoyed both books. The Wild Rose of Kilgannon is written in the same theme as Kilgannon. It is definitely a continuation of Kilgannon. In order to given the storyline full credit you need to read Kilgannon first. The Wild Rose of Kilgannon leaves the reader hanging at the end, however not in a bad way. I believe that Givens has left the ending open in order to create the opportunity for a series and expand on her supporting cast of characters. I look forward to reading more material from this author in the future.
Rating: Summary: Mary Rose Review: I really enjoyed both books. I'm still reading the second. It's very compelling and I can not wait to finish it. It has me crying. I really hope she continues this story about Mary and Alex. The ending leads you to believe that there is more to this story. I read the last page. I always read the last page of every book I read. Kathleen please continue this story.

Rating: Summary: A great followup Review: I really liked Kilgannon, by the same author, and wondered if the sequel would live up to the quality of the original. It did. In fact, it was even better than Kilgannon - more action, and a wrapup of all the details. Both are very suspenseful and I had to peek to see whose grave was mentioned in the prologue (I won't tell!). Some sad parts, some made me cry, but by the end I was ready to take to the seas myself. I can't wait to see what happens next in this series. I highly recommend this book and the previous one, Kilgannon, by Givens.
Rating: Summary: You saved my marriage Review: I was totally absorbed in the story. I have finished the first book, and am 3/4 thru the second. Being half-scots myself, anything that deals with Scotland I love.My husband found me crying as I was reading this story. It was so compelling, being written in the first person; you felt you were right there with Mary, and feeling her loss.
