Rating: Summary: I adored this book! Review: I've loved all of Medieros's books and this one is no exception. It made me laugh. It made me cry. It made me sorry to see it end. I could have gone on reading about these characters forever. I recommend it highly to anyone who loves romance and to anyone who has never tried it before. If Morgan and Sabrina don't win you over, I don't know what will!
Rating: Summary: A diamond among the coal of romantic fiction! Review: If you're like me and you appreciate a great story with your romance and not just alot of fluff between sex scenes; then A Whisper Of Roses by Teresa Medeiros is the book for you. It's so rare to stumble across a book that has endearing characters, a great plot and an author with a talent for the writing language. I loved it!
Rating: Summary: Great! Review: Just another great read by Teresa Medeiros. Her books are always fun to read. I have enjoyed them all... Don't miss this one.
Rating: Summary: ten stars Review: Loved it, loved it, loved it!!! Medeiros is one of a kind in how she can weave a story together as good as this one. I bought this novel thinking that it would not be all that good, and ended up reading it in one day! Couldn't put it down. Plus, the guy on the inside cover didn't hurt matters either....
Rating: Summary: Very, very good Review: Susan King is one of my all time favorite writers. I have got to say that Whisper of Roses was almost (not quite) just almost as good as one of Susan King's. I really enjoyed this. I did, however, find myself getting really tired of Sabrina's self-pity role and applauded some of Morgan's reactions to her poor me ways, but all in all I liked this book.
Rating: Summary: Teresa rocks! Review: This is my first book by her and she is great. She really filled in the characters well. A lot of times these type books can get boring because of uneccessary added in detail fillers. This book taps into the characters and storyline and doesn't stray a bit. What a writer!
Rating: Summary: Moving Review: This is perhaps one of the most moving, poignent, and fullfilling novels I have ever read. Morgan and Sabrina are brought together, but before they can be truly happy, they must overcome some terrible obsticles. Every page kept me on my toes, waiting to see how the conflict would be resolved. What the characters felt seemed so real that at times I wanted to throw down my book and cry, which has never happened to me before. However, I have two complaints. One is that there is an important three letter phrase that I enjoy reading, even if it is completely obvious. I just feel that romance novels are more complete with these three words, however because this book was so deeply moving, the author can get away with it. Second is that I thought it would have been nice to have an epilogue. At the end I felt really sad that I did not get to read about any additions that Morgan and Sabrina had made to the family. Despite these two minor details, this book was wonderfully written and at the end the reader can almost feel triumphant.
Rating: Summary: COULD'NT PUT DOWN.... Review: THIS IS SUCH A GREAT BOOK, I COULD'NT PUT IT DOWN. IF YOU LIKE MEDEVIL ROMANCES , DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS ONE.. TERESA MEDEIROS HAS OUT DONE HERSELF AGAIN.. THIS IS THE FIFTH BOOK OF HER'S THAT I'VE READ, AND THEY JUST KEEP GETTING BETTER....
Rating: Summary: Loved it!!! Review: This is the first book from Ms. Medeiros that I have read and I thought it was wonderful! Morgan definitely had all the qualities I like in a man. Sensitive, strong and magnificent! Sabrina is carefree and adorable. This book gave me real phyisical heartache and when a book does that, I am hooked. I highly recommend this book and will pick up another of Teresa's books for sure.
Rating: Summary: The book was good, but... Review: This is the second novel from teresa that I read. I do not even remember the name of the first one but it was about some english lord having 10 kids and getting married to a girl to mend for his kids... something like that. I did not complete this first novel from teresa because it completely lacked emotional depths. Hence, when I picked up this second book from her I was prepared to keep it down after reading the first 50 pages. However, I was in for a nice surprise.
I completely enjoyed the first two parts of this three part novel. In fact, I almost read the first two parts in a single sitting. However, the third part is what made me give a 3-star to this book instead of 4 or 4 and a half stars. The third part had a lot of flaws. For one, it lacked consistency in the way Sabrina and Morgan would behave. Sabrina suddenly changed overnight from a sweet woman to a crude wench. And Morgan's behavior was unnecessarily confusing the storyline. Many times author did not express the motivations for him doing certain things in London, or even coming to London for that matter... Secondly, it lacked the emotional depth that the author established in the first two parts. I felt like the continuum of the emotional relationship developed between Morgan and Sabrina did not flow into the third part, until the end when suddenly they find themselves once again in love. Author could have done a much better job in the concluding part of this novel that started very well.
Rags.
