Review: "The Stanislaski Brothers" contains the stories of the boys of the Stanislaski family. One story for each of the brothers: "Luring a Lady" is Mikhail's story (second story in the series)and "Concincing Alex" is Alex's story (fourth story in the series).In "Luring a Lady", Mikhail, the second in the family and the eldest son, met Sydney Hayward, the wealthy ice princess who owned the building which Mikhail lived in. The building was in a very terrible condition, much in need of repair and renovation. Mikhail's letter to the Hayward comapny was not receiving much response, so he decided to march into the office to demand for the rights of all the tenants residing there. It ended up that Sydney employ Mikhail to oversee the repair and maintenance of the building. Read this story to see how the sparks flew as the two of them work hand in hand, not expecting to fall in love. In "Convinving Alex", Alex, the third child in the family and a detective, met Bess McNee, a scriptwriter for soap operas. The story started when Alex mistakenly arrested Bess for soliciting. Bess was a pretty interesting character because of her curosity in everything. She wanted to experience or interview different people of their experiences so that she could store the information up and use them in the soap operas later on. Alex wanted to forget Bess after he realised his mistake in arresting her but it proved to be difficult as everybody seemed to be big fans of Bess's soap opera, 'Secret Sins'. In the beginning, Bess was interested in Alex only because he could help her in making the lead character, a detective, in her soap opera more real. Both of them had not decided to fall in love but still... IT HAPPENED! On top of this, there is a crime in this story to be solved too. In these two stories, readers can expect to revisit the close-knitted Stanislaski family. There are a few additional family members (the babies!) but still, the stories are still as interesting as before!

Review: "The Stanislaski Brothers" is a wonderful book. I read "Convincing Alex" about 2 yrs. ago and loved it. Bu t...I have to agree with the reviewer who said that "Luring a Lady" is better. Mikhail was strong-willed and stubborn and his love interest...Sydney, was cold as ice. Reminds me alot of myself. This family is definitely one I'd love to meet. Such a close-knit family with plenty of kids to liven things up.

In "Luring a Lady," which is actually the second in the Stanislaski series, Mikhail, a brilliant craftsman, storms into Sydney Hayward's plush office one day, demanding that she pay attention to his run-down apartment building. Ice princess Sydney isn't used to men like Mikhail, but his charm is not wasted on her, and soon the ice around her begins to melt under the heat of their passion!
In "Convincing Alex," the fourth in the series, Alexi mistakenly arrests Bess McNee, a soap opera writer, for solicitation. Bess decides that this sexy detective is just what she needs, both professionally and personally. Review: Hey everyone, I love Nora Roberts books,I am a huge fan. Now Both the Stanislaski Brothers and Stanislaski Sisters are great books.But what you should know before you read either one is before you ruin the plots and stories for yourself. Read Taming Natasha-Stanislaski Sisters first then read Luring a Lady-Stanislaski Brothers its about Mikhail then read Falling for Rachel-Stanislaski Sisters then finally read Convincing Alex-Stanislaski Brothers. If you read the entire sister book then the brother book or in reverse you will ruin some key points. It should be in the order i gave above.

Review: I am in love with the Stanislaski Brothers. What a wonderful, heartwarming and loving family, the rich characters of Yuri and Nadia, the heart of this remarkable family, their sons Mikhail and Alexi, daughters Rachael and Natasha are memorizing. Mikhail and Stacey, Alexi and Bess love stories are every woman's fantasy. The story is so full of emotion and romance that you will not be able to put it down. Another Nora Roberts winner.

Review: I enjoy Nora Roberts books. The Stanislaski Brothers has two novels in one book. The first story involves Mikhail and his romance with Sydney. An unlikely duo at first glance, Sydney is a polished, sheltered, high society woman who becomes president of her grandfather's company upon his death. Mikhail was raised in the Ukraine until his family fought their way to the United States. Sydney mistakes him for a carpenter and hires him to make improvements on a building owned by her company and where Mikhail lives. She discovers he is not a simple carpenter but a complex man of many talents. Mikhail vows to win Sydney's heart. The second story revolves around Mikhail's younger brother, Alex, a tough street cop who arrests Bess McNee for soliciting, only to discover she is a soap opera writer doing "research". They fight to solve the murders of several prostitutes while falling in love. Bess has a history of "collecting" fiances, will Alex simply be added to that group, or will he believe in her declarations of love?
Both stories were a delight. I recommend them highly! Enjoy...
