Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: The Angel's Cup Review: This exceptional story is an intriguing blend of the whimsical and the mysterious. I love to read and this is one of my favorite types of stories. The plot moves between an ancient relic, a diary of long ago events, and the present day. I liked the unexpected plot twists as the story unfolds. It has it all - humor, suspense, and romance. This is a great book to read on a rainy day, a day at the beach, or just relaxing. The characters are well developed and varied - you get to know them. I highly recommend this book.

Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Sloppy editing and a mawkish, silly story Review: This has to rank as one of the most infuriating books I've ever read. It came with glowing recommendations, so even though I normally shy away from romance novels, I bought it to give it a try. Was I sorry! On the first page alone, there are three typos; the editing throughout is sloppy and careless. Lots of misplaced apostrophes--it's for its, and vice versa, as one example; "Morrow" Bay instead of the correct Morro Bay (so named because the gigantic rock reminded the early Spanish settlers of a Moor's helmet). Then the story itself is so silly and implausible, and the characters so cardboard, that it was no fun to read. I finally gave up on it after the "bad angel" came in... Truly, if this is what the afterlife is like, we are all in big trouble!
