Rating: Summary: Red Hot Review: Before reading this steamy book, you need to do a few things:1. Turn down the air conditioner or open a few windows - the breeze will help. 2. Get a pitcher of your favorite cold beverage - you will need to cool off. 3. Do any important chores - because you won't be putting this book down! Packed With Pleasure is one of the hottest Blazes that I have read in recent memory, and should come packed in dry ice! This book sizzles from cover to cover. First we meet Eden Montgomery, a gift basket designer. But these are no ordinary gift baskets - these are one-of-a-kind erotic gift selections, designed to delight and entice the recipients into new and daring sexual adventures. Eden's business has really soared, much to her delight - and her dismay, as her creativity is starting to wane. Her problem is that the success has been so demanding that she hasn't had a love life of her own. Determined to demolish her mental block, Eden is delighted when a handsome stranger passing by the store decides to step inside her world of sensual pleasures. One look at him and her imagination has started taking her into new uncharted territory. Is she brave enough to act on her first impressions? Alec Ramsey has finally located the shop that his sister recommended. Intent on getting his partner a unique and memorable wedding gift, Alec stunned by the impact of his surroundings, not to mention the stunning beauty offering her assistance. As the sexual attraction between them crackles with energy, Alec knows that he can't possibly pass up the opportunity to see where this will lead. I am not going to spoil the story by giving away too many of the details about Eden and Alec's passionate encounters. Let's just say that author Lori Wilde has made new inroads into the definition of "inventive." This couple knows how to burn up the sheets. They also have some unresolved personal issues about intimacy and acceptance that fit perfectly with their characters. I enjoyed seeing how they worked through their problems almost as much as I loved their creative encounters.
Rating: Summary: Cute, funny, and sexy but what's all the fuss about? Review: I was so excited when I read the fabulous reviews for this book, only to be extremely dissapointed with its length! This book is a very small paperback romance, which lacks a true and deep character development. Nonetheless, the heroin-Eden-and hero-Ramsey- are endearing and the chemistry between them is extremely sexy and palpable. The whole storyline-about Eden's creative edge going through a stump due to her lack of sexual experience and then unexpectedly finding it back everytime she happens to see the handsome and charming Ramsey- is unique and quite unpredictable. The love story that gradually develops from their "strictly sexual" relationship is sweet. Other than that, I do not see where the glowing reviews were coming from because in the end this is a very short, fluffy, and sexy romance that you will finish reading in a couple of hours....
Rating: Summary: Cute, funny, and sexy but what's all the fuss about? Review: I'd never heard of nor read anything by this author before and was a bit apprehensive about this book, but some good reviews convinced me to give it a chance - and I'm so glad I did! This book could give the impression of being all sex all the time without purpose, but it's so much more. I felt such empathy for Eden and her insecurities and rooted for her to overcome them. And if you've gotta get a guy involved, then surely you couldn't pick a better man than sexy, confident Alec Ramsey! Eden Montgomery needs to jump-start her creative juices when she hits a slump and starts repeating herself in her one-of-a-kind erotic gift basket business. What she needs is some really awesome, hot, creative, no strings sex to get her ideas churning again. But she's gun-shy after her last attempt when scars she received in a fire turned off the guy and he cruelly walked out on her leaving her feeling undesirable and rejected. She hasn't had the nerve to attempt it since. But when she meets Alec Ramsey, simply the most handsome and sexy man she's ever seen she decides to go for it. If any man can make her feel desirable again she's sure it's Alec! Alec is the editor of Single Guy magazine and the epitome of the word playboy. He's rich, handsome, successful and could have any woman in the world. But when he meets Eden, he is immediately attracted and comes on to her in a major way (over a sexually charged lunch date!). Eden is almost swept away but keeps her wits about her long enough to put some parameters around what must be a strictly sexual relationship. She can't afford to fall for this guy - he's a guaranteed heartbreaker! They agree to a one-month affair, no talking about personal stuff, no meeting friends or family and only seeing each other once a week. Things work out great for about the first two weeks, but what they don't know is that they've been set up by two matchmakers who are hoping for more than a sexual relationship to develop between these two. Their interference begins to cause Eden and Alec to break their own rules. They begin to like each other on a personal level (always dangerous) and when one of them starts to push to extend their time together, things have really gotten out of hand. What the heck happened to their simple, impersonal, strictly sexual relationship? Did they ever have one or have they been fooling themselves all along? I loved this book - period. Eden was a heroine I could identify with and Alec was the sexiest "nice guy" I've read in a while. Highly recommended!

Rating: Summary: Readers will go wilde over PACKED WITH PLEASURE, Review: Manhattan proprietor of Wickedly Wonderful boutique, Eden Montgomery feels that her talent at making beautiful unique erotic pleasure baskets has taken a temporary hiatus in a sort of writer's block way. Nothing she does reawakens her skills because her brain has turned to stagnated mush and she cannot rely on the memory of hands on experience in the sex game. However, Eden feels she has hit the magical jackpot when she sees Alec Ramsey standing on a sidewalk. Eden concludes that if she sleeps with the super sexy Alec, it will lead to the stimulation of her creative juices. Eden and Alec desire one another, but neither wants a commitment. They agree the answer is to restrict their time together, keep feelings out of the relationship, and don't fall in love. However, keeping distances only leads to dreams; keeping out feelings only turns them deeper into need and desire; finally not falling love is impossible as each has already done so. Will Eden and Alec realize what they can have together or will the fears of the playboy and the creative genius make neither one step forward. Readers will go wilde over PACKED WITH PLEASURE, a delightful erotic romance starring two charming lead protagonists. The story line is fun as Eden fantasizes from the first time she sees Alec. He insures her dreams pale compared to the realities. Besides an obvious talent for writing, Lori Wilde should consider opening up that little boutique because her audience will demand custom made pleasure baskets for their own midnight memories.
