Rating: Summary: terrible Review: Book was blah....no imagination
Rating: Summary: Wow and WOW! Review: Evangaline needs and wants a safe-haven for herself and her son, comes to Springwater and meets her husband-to-be's partner on his ranch, almost reluctantly they fall in love. Her husband to be comes back with a wife, and all is well for the two couples! So much love and control is possessed in these pages! If you like Springwater, you will also love Eternal Undying Love by Brett Keane.
Rating: Summary: Not Very Imaginative Review: First, I must say that romance novels are not my usual genre, but thought I would give this a read. I found this story very predictable and lacking in imagination. I was able to guess the ending about halfway through the book, and would have liked to have seen a few more twists in the plot, or at least a few that weren't so easily resolved. This struck me as a book that almost anyone who has read a romance or two could have written.
Rating: Summary: A New Beginning... Review: I am looking forward to reading this entire series. The first book caught my attention. It is definitely a romance novel and nothing more. But, I love romance novels! It is the story of a widow and her daughter making the trek West to meet her new husband. Instead she meets the man she loves, but because she's not promised to him she can't have him. It's a sweet story and ends just how you want. Not too stressful, but a fun read!

Rating: Summary: Fantastic beginning of a new series!! Review: I am thrilled to recommend this book and all those that follow in the Springwater Series. Each one makes you anxious to pick the next to find out how the people in Springwater are doing. The mail-order bride concept of this time period has fascinated me. How did those women find the courage to go off into the vast unknown to meet a man that could very well be more trouble than they left behind. I can't wait to read Springwater Christmas that I just picked up in the store this weekend.
Rating: Summary: Less Focus on Romance, more focus on the mundane Review: I do declare this is probably one of the worst books I've ever read. It's so boring I couldn't even finish it, and it's short in comparison to some other novels. I never even got the feeling that Evangeline and Scully were atracted to each other. They were just suddenly in love. But what bothered me the most was that every two pages some is either using the chamber pot, or the outhouse, or needs to "twiddle" as it was put. I've never read a romance that took such interest in bodily functions.
Rating: Summary: Boring, boring, boring!!! Review: I first read SPRINGWATER when it first came out. I've since re-read it several times, loving it each time. Evangeline's plight of marrying a man sight unseen takes on a whole range of emotions when she falls in love with his best friend, Scully, who is sent to take care of her until his friend returns. The build up of their growing feelings, knowing they can't be together, touches the reader's heart. Their eventual parting leaves the reader itching with anticipation and heartfelt sorrow at their final goodbye. Happy endings are a must, so don't dispair, just read it. Miller has done a wonderful job with this series, but SPRINGWATER is my favorite.

Rating: Summary: Nice Story! But Start At the Beginning! Review: I found this book AFTER I'd read the Springwater Series (four small books, each about an individual character). I found references in those books to this, so went in search of this book. This book set the stage for the Springwater Series. But it is never too late to go back and gain the history! I recommend reading this book, then the Springwater Series, then finish off with Springwater Christmas! I have also seen that a new book, Springwater Wedding is coming out in 2001! I am impatiently waiting for that book to arrive, and I probably won't be able to wait for the soft covered version.... Because I enjoy this author and this particular series soooo much!!!
