Rating: Summary: Hilarious paranormal romance Review: Being a witch is not all that it is cranked up to be. Just ask Alisande Wyrrd who has lived for three centuries and in spite of her powers has never found love. However, she has a problem caused by her lack of mating. Her powers are beginning to wane and only a lover can help her regain her prowess. The obvious solution is to find some hunk of a male witch, but Alisande has waited three-hundred years for a love of a lifetime and settling is not good enough for her. Though it seems impossible and bleak, Alisande begins a search for her beloved. By her third magazine, to her own amazement, Alisande locates the individual she loves. Sebastian Wainwright, CEO of a security firm, thinks Alisande is a lunatic, but cannot stop his attraction to her. Now all she has to do is convince him that she is a witch, and by the way, they belong together, not an easy series of tasks when dealing with a mortal skeptic. Donna Fletcher is quickly gaining a reputation for her cleverly developed paranormal romances (see WHISPERS ON THE WIND). Her latest tale involving a witch seeking the love of a mortal will excite her fans due to the feel that the witch species is real. Sebastian retains too much doubt even with contrary evidence to prove him wrong. Alisande appears to be more of a regency heroine than a modern person. Still, readers will take great pleasure from their courtship. WEDDING SPELL never takes itself seriously, which becomes the magical charm of this delightful tale. Harriet Klausner
Rating: Summary: A magical journey into the heart Review: Donna Fletcher does it again! Another book that goes straight to the heart of what makes romance novels worth reading. Entertaining, interesting and difficult to put down, Wedding Spell is a unique story with fairies, witches and enough love to make it a must read.
Rating: Summary: Beautiful story and wonderful characters Review: I didn't think Donna could write a better book than WHISPERS ON THE WIND, but she has. I wish I could give it 10 stars. This book has everything you want to find in a fantastic read, magic, laughter and most importantly love. Sebastian has to believe what Alisande is, a 300 year old witch who has cast a truelove spell on him or loose her forever. Time is running out for them when he finally comes to a decision with the help of Dagon, another 300 year old witch, Alisande's aunt Sydney, a 600 year old witch and a fairy called Beatrice. Eeverytime you think you you know what is going to happen there is another delightful twist to the story. You just cannot predict the end with any certainty. This story is so beautifully written. It will make you laugh, cry and believe in witches. A wonderfull story. I can't wait to read Dagon's story im MAGICAL MOMENTS. If it is half as good as this one it will be brilliant. Well done Donna.

Rating: Summary: not what i expected Review: I thought that this book was quite boring in the beginning. What led me to read on, I dont know because I really wasn't that interesting. I found myself skipping several pages at a time to try to find a part that was even remotely interesting. Only towards the end did it get interesting and even then it was not that good. The climax of the story was fast and over with quickly. I felt as though the book itself were stretched out longer than it should've been, therefore making it boring with it's usless comments. The chracters were not really in dept and the story line is too slow. Sebastion seems like a good inteeligent man, but it seems to me that it would be highly unlikely that he would fall in love with a women just after some dreams he was having about her. Over all I did not really like this bopok and for those of you who are interested I recomend that you find another book to fill your time.

Rating: Summary: Samantha Stevens (Bewitched) couldnt have done it any better Review: It was a thoroughly enjoyable read. The characters, as with all of Ms. Fletchers people, were fleshed out and believable. The humor made me smile and laugh out loud, no matter where i was at the time. The author adds little touches that tells us who the characters are, the toe ring for an example and we gladly suspend our beliefs to encompass the magic of our heroine and her family. I found it funny, romantic, touching and informative. Here's hoping she has sequels so we can follow the family thru their past history on up thru today. Kudos to an author who can give us such interesting plot lines and rich characters. Thank you ms. fletcher.
Rating: Summary: A wonderful afternoon escape Review: Ms. Fletcher has created a wonderful romantic escape in the WEDDING SPELL. Take a cup of tea, some chocolates, and sit and enjoy the delights, tears, and laughter of Alisande and Sebastian. And please, please, Ms. Fletcher, don't keep us yearning - give us Dagon's story.
Rating: Summary: Good setup with a poor follow through Review: The heroine is a witch who has lived 300 years without love (or a lover for that matter) and is in danger of losing her powers. She must "recharge" by mating with a powerful lover. How's that for a hook? Frustratingly, though, that promising idea wasn't enough to make this book anything more than average. I soon lost all interest in the story because of the irritatingly flawless (and often too stupid to live) heroine and all of the other cardboard-like characters that filled the book. If I had to sum up this story in one word it would be "emotionless". I felt no connection to the characters. Despite a few charming moments the story was bogged down with a weak conflict that was not consistently developed. I don't recommend this one unless you _really_ have a thing for witches and relationships based solely on lust.
