Summary: Unbelievable!
Review: Elizabeth Lowell is one of America's finest romance writers. Remember Summer is not one of her best efforts. I am grateful for the opportunity to read one of her earlier works, but even more thankful that I have read her other more recent works and know that Remember Summer is not characteristic of her talent. From the beginning the characters, the conflicts, and the resolutions were all unbelievable.

Summary: Great!
Review: Geeze, people, lighten up! Now, I admit I am a new E.L. reader, but I thought this was pretty good! As a horse owner and an equestrian, I respect Ms. Lowell's realism with the horses and the relationships between the humans and animals. I was hooked on the book, and I couldn't put it down. It was great. The erotic scenes were also done in a classy manner. Raine's naivity did get a bit annoying, and her hang ups with the gun and beeper. I mean, the guy is protecting her life with his, and she's whining about the gun and beeper. But, this also shows how good a write E.L. is, if she can make you feel strongly about the characters. A great book overall, please, give this book a try, despite the bad reviews! Any horse lover or romance novel reader will like it!

Summary: Totally unrealistic story line
Review: Give me a break!! No normal woman, innocently walking anywhere, who is attacked and tackled by a stranger, terrorized and searched intimately, against her will, would, within minutes, fall into his arms and blithly walk hand in hand with him into the sunset. And, that's just the beginning. It goes downhill from there.

Summary: THE BEST BOOK EVER!
Review: I am a LONG time Elizabeth Lowell fan. I love ALL her books, I keep them all and re-read them often, but this one is my all-time favorite. I have TONS of books here in my house, and Remember Summer is the one that is worn ragged b/c i read it so often. I love the characters Raine and Cord, love the chemistry between them, and i love the connection Raine has with her horse. All of Elizabeth Lowells books lodge themselves in my heart, but this one has been my personal favorite since the first time I read it. Trust me, You'll love it...those who don't shouldnt be reading romance in the first place. I wouldn't give ANY of Lowell's books a bad review. They're all great. And this one is the greatest! ENJOY!

Summary: A reader from PA. thought that this book was terrible.
Review: I had previously read Elizabeth Lowell's other books Amber Beach, etc. and thought that when I saw this book in the book store that it would be good. What a waste of money and time. It was a real disappointment.

Summary: Lowell is great, I'll read anything with her name on it!
Review: I just finished Remember Summer this morning at 6:30, I didn't get any sleep last night but it was well worth it. I loved the book and literally couldn't put it down. From the beginning to the end you feel drawn into the characters lives and compelled to find out what will happen next. I highly suggest this as well as anything else Lowell has ever written, to anyone looking for a book worth reading. I hope you get a chance to enjoy it as much as I did.

Summary: Fantastic!
Review: I read this book in one day, unable to put it down even to go pee. Sure, the storyline is farfetched, but the book is well written, suspenseful and INCREDIBLY romantic. I found Raine a tad annoying, however. The man was trying to proctect her from assasination and all she could do was gripe about his gun and beeper! The horse is great and Cord is a dream.

Summary: True horse lover
Review: I really did not like this book at all. I am an over 50 amateur adult in the horse show world and am always looking for good horse fiction. There was very little in this book that had to do with horses. It was all juvenile steamy teasing between the two main caracters. I did not even finish it. I got 3/4's through it and decided not to waste any more time on it.

Summary: Dissapointed a bit
Review: I really like Elizabeth Lowells novel "End of Earths" but I didn't like this. I'm not fond of horses at all. I was expecting another touching novel but this one isn't. I've seen better.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: A disappointment from one of my favorite authors
Review: I usually love Elizabeth Lowell, but this book was definitely not one of her finer efforts. The plot goes beyond farfetched, the characters are not very likeable, and the romance is not even interesting. Save your money and try the Only series or the Donovans, either is much, much better.
