Summary: Not so good as Krinard's others
Review: Susan Krinard is a pleasure to read. She writes well, her dialogue and descriptions are good, and in general the relationships are interesting. This one however is less good than some of her other books. It is too long, for one thing. It ought to have been shortened by a good 100 pages. And I agree with other readers, the characters are less attractive than others she's created. If you have to choose a werewolf-themed story, go with Prince of Shadows, or try some of her other works, such as Body and Soul. Still, Krinard is one of the best writers of fantasy or supernatural romance, and it's well worth checking anything new she does.

Summary: Not a 'must read again' book.
Review: The book was definitely not terrible but it also didn't set the world on fire. I was disappointed when Joelle went through such an ordeal to finally locate her parents resting place and it wasn't a big deal. They looked at it and then were off. I didn't think that Luke was that great of a guy (very mean to the Dr who helped in raising him) and couldn't understand why anyone would fall in love with him. I thought his character was one of a weird man. Joelle I didn't find extremely likable either. I liked the small, secret town that Luke was born in and I would have liked to see more of that in the book. All in all; I would say that the story is okay but it didn't leaving me wishing for more.

Summary: One of the best books I've ever read!!
Review: The strenth of the emotions in this story are so strong that I found myself laughing, crying and leaping for joy! This is one book that I plan to keep in my collection and I strongly recommend you add to yours.

Summary: Steamy, sexy book, well written and fantastic.
Review: This is a sensual, steamy story that had me riveted to the pages. The hero, so well characterized by Ms. Krinard, is lonely, driven to find a mate, yet closes himself off from what he feels because of what he is. He sees the heroine and knows she is to be his next conquest, but she is determined to get the help she wants from him, without giving in to him. A sexy, poignant love story. Oh, to be hunted down by this hero...wow

Summary: A Man That Changes Into A Wolf
Review: This is labled Romance, but should be labled Super Natural Romance. Joelle Randall has come to the Canadian Rockies to find the site her parent's plane crashed twelve years ago. She needs to put the past behind her so she may begin her future.

Joelle hires Luke Gevaudan to guide her into the mountains before the bad weather begins.

Luke Gevaudan is a loner with the grace of a wolf. Eyes that glitter and a savage intensity to attrack.

Joey could never have known he is the stuff legends are made out of. He is part of a hidden village of the last werewolves. A man able to change into the form of a wolf whenever he wanted. A man who she will not be able to escape or resist...no matter how terrible the price.

Summary: Loved this one!!
Review: This is the second book from Ms. Krinard that I have read, and I definately loved this one as well! Being an animal lover, and a wolf lover the best, I could definately connect with this story. Luke is a stunning alpha male, Joelle his unkown alpha female. Luke tries everything he possibly can to shun any and all of Joey's attempts, and you can really feel for Joey as she tries to figure out why. I can't, and won't, go much further in describing this story as you have to read it to find out what happens!! There are many steamy and wonderful scenarios throughout, making it a delightful book.

Summary: Excellent book!
Review: This was an excellent book. I couldn't put it down until I got to the end. Susan Krinard really makes the characters (Luke & Joey) come to life. You are able to "feel" what they are feeling. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this.

Summary: FANTASTIC story!
Review: This was the first Krinard novel I had ever read. This was the one that brought me back to her time and again. I was so incredibly drawn into the story. I very much enjoy how she incorporates this supernatural/paranormal activity with the characters, all of whom were well-developed, might i add..she made them come alive. The reason I love Krinard so much is because she is unlike any other romance novelist. Her stories are new, unpredictable, and overall, just extremely well done. This is a definite MUST MUST read! :)

Summary: A good story but.....
Review: Well I had to rate this on two levels. I liked most of the story, the plot was interesting which inticed me to buy the book in the first place but it seemed to ramble on and then would jump around that it was a bit confusing to read. I thought that the heroine was well done but the hero Luke was unrealized. The book took me days to get through because it tended to drag. I was hoping for more excitement and didn't get much.

I have read others from this author and found them to be more thrilling and they held my interest throughout the whole book I wish this one had also.

Summary: Good story, but I wanted to smack the hero...
Review: who did something really incredibly stupid. Other than that, it was a great read, very intense and well-researched, as usual. Valle Cloche was very interesting. The details of Joelle's search for her parents were clear, and I especially liked the very last bit, after he did the Stupid Thing and got paid back on it. (Of course.) I did find myself wishing it weren't quite so unrelentingly *dark* all the time, tho. This is not a light happy read.
