Rating: Summary: Another one that I couldn't put down. Review: As she does with her "Montgomery" novels, Jude Deveraux uses her talent to captivate the reader. It is so easy to get caught up in her books and to forget the world exists. Kane Taggert, like most of her heroes, is likeable. One aspect of this book that I really liked was the way his character was developed and how he came full-circle - from someone just out for revenge to someone who saw what love could do. Kane and Houston were a great match! And, I look forward to reading Twin of Fire - it's always nice how Deveraux writes other books about her characters so that you can get to know them from every aspect. Definitely worth buying.
Rating: Summary: Another Jude pleaser! Review: I believe if you read any Jude Deveraux book, it should be this one. It is extremely funny, and the romance is top rate. Wishes is also a great Deveraux book set in the same time and town.

Rating: Summary: TWIN OF ICE IS MY ALL-TIME FAVOURITE Review: I must have read Twin of Ice about 3 times now and I just love Houston & Kane. Their chemistry was superb and characters so real, although less-than-perfect. I love the scene when they first met in a shop where some ladies were passing nasty remarks about Kane and Houston just told them off in such a classic way! Although people think that Houston made a big mistake by agreeing to marry Kane, the match was actually very good when you think about it. She was able to put all her training to good use by running his household! Best thing is underneath her cool exterior, she was one hot lady indeed! And to think that she could actually have married that boring Leander who couldn't even distinguish between her and her twin Blair. Twin of Fire, by comparison pales against this first book. Somehow I was not able to feel for Blair & Lee the way I felt for Houston & Kane. After reading the fiasco between Blair & Lee in Twin of Ice, I just felt that Lee must be the goonest man alive not to be able to tell the twins apart. And Blair actually slept with her sister's fiance! Try as I did to think that her passion is romantic, I couldn't. You should read Twin of Fire for completeness but for me, I could not remember the story. Conclusion? Twin of Ice is worth a read over and over again and fans of Jude Deveraux should not miss it!

Rating: Summary: Another Jude pleaser! Review: I picked up this book on a whim, and once again was swept away into Jude Deveraux's world of magical romance. I LOVED Kane Taggert. He was a really original hero. I loved how he needed her, but he could be bossy and dominating at the same time. And what girl wouldn't love a man who has millions but doesn't know how to "spend money" and has nice muscular arms as well? Oh--I love Kane so much that I forgot to mention Houston: she's great too.
Rating: Summary: Great escapism reading! Review: I read this in three hours ~~ and it was three hours of sheer bliss! I have not read Jude's older books and happened to find these in a garage sale and have rediscovered her again!
Houston Chandler is engaged to marry the local doctor, Lee Wakefield. The only problem is, she doesn't find his kisses very interesting. So when she receives a dinner invitation to see the Taggert house on the hill ~~ she accepted it with her twin, Blair, as a stand-in for her at the party that Houston was supposed to attend with Lee. A series of events ensued and Houston finds herself married and in love with the rough Taggert ~~ Kane ~~ who has been orphaned since birth.
It is a fun novel ~~ perfect escape from the busy world and a great bath-tub reading!

Rating: Summary: You got ta be kiddin' me... Review: I started reading Jude's books a little while ago and I've read about 5 and have liked them all. Twin of Ice I thought was okay in the begining, at first I really didn't like Kane to much but then at the end I thought his personality and attitude were completly romanatic. I think that The twin of Ice was a very good book just like all of her books are!

Rating: Summary: I enjoy the book Review: I very much enjoy this book, and i'll probably end up getting the other Twin book. The story was great and Houston, i like her very much, but her sister Blair, i didn't get her at all... And the other thing that was bothering me is that i read The Invitation before i read this book, and the hero Kane Taggert was in The Invitation too, if someone read it, please write me and tell me if the hero Kane Taggert in The Invitation is the same one as this hero.
