Summary: Why did the hero put up with this dingbat?
Review: Like one other reviewer, I simply could not stand Scarlett. By the middle of the book, I actually felt sorry for Logan, for the fact that he would be stuck with this neurotic crackpot for the rest of his life. Have you ever met a couple where the guy is drop dead gorgeous, super nice and the gal is an absolute witch? And you ask yourself: "This guy could have anyone, so why in hell is he with her?" Well, Logan and Scarlett are going to inspire that reaction in everyone they meet. Obviously Scarlett's nosy paranoia was supposed to be endearing or sympathetic, but I just had no respect for someone who could jump to such ridiculous, hurtful conclusions about people based on so few facts. I didn't blame Logan for being frustrated with her and, like the other reviewer, when he walked out on Scarlett I was actually cheering, and therefore was disappointed when he forgave her less than a page later. To make matters worse, Scarlett doesn't redeem herself by tackling and conquering her trust issues on her own like a mature, introspective adult. Instead, Logan has to solve her problems for her, by painstakingly forcing her to actually think (gasp!!) logically for once. I couldn't believe that he had to tell a 29-year-old to actually investigate her assumptions instead of jumping to conclusions. Realistically, Scarlett should have been a complete turn-off for Logan, and the author never convinced me why this wasn't so. Patti Berg certainly isn't the best romance author out there, but this story doesn't meet even her previous standards.

Summary: Romance, mystery and laughs! This book has it all!
Review: Mystery bookstore owner Scarlett O'Malley has an American flag charm dangling from her belly button ring, a mop of flaming red hair (which she thinks looks like an exploding firework), and a vivid imagination. She sees trouble lurking around every corner--and when a sexy and sensitive hunk (also an ex-cop) named Logan Wolfe shows up in town, she's sure he's out to scam all the wealthy widows in Plentiful, Wyoming.

When another stranger drops dead in Scarlett's bookstore and the wealthiest widow in town disappears, Scarlett's friends (the Tuesday Morning Sleuth Society--3 very funny old ladies!) are sure Logan is responsible. But Scarlett doesn't want to believe a guy like Logan could be a killer, and after her belly button ring gets stuck to a button on his jeans, she sets out to find the truth (and gets into a lot of trouble--and fun--along the way).

After "meeting" Logan Wolfe in Patti Berg's book SOMETHING WILD, I couldn't wait to read more about him in STUCK ON YOU. This book was a riot and shouldn't be missed.

Summary: Great read!
Review: The cover of this book portrays Scarlett to a T! She thinks it is her patriotic duty to dress like every day is the Forth of July because her red hair! Her crazy imagination (with the help of some mystery-addicted old lady friends) has her second guessing everything she comes across! She blames her step-dad for her mother's unexpected death just hasn't been able to prove it. Everyone in the town thinks she's a joke, "just like her mother." But when the Big Bad Wolfe enters town, Scarlett is just drawn to him, as he to her! They become 'stuck on eachother'- in more ways than one... Her antics only increase when a woman dies in her store, then finds pieces to a letter the woman must have written. As she tries to put the pieces together she realizes there is more than she even imagined. Scarlett finally learns the truth about her step-father, the dead woman and herself! She even gets over her mom's diary entry warnings and gives into Logan Wolfe, body, heart and soul!

Summary: enjoyable romantic suspense
Review: The mystery club members discuss the latest Jayne Mansfield-Smythe novel and the newcomer Logan Wolfe while meeting at A Study in Scarlett Mystery Book & Tea Shoppe in Plentiful, Wyoming. Though they think Jayne is an idiot they enjoy her antics and at times try to emulate their heroine. On the other hand, the three elderly female members think that Logan is out for no good.

The shoppe owner Scarlett O'Malley and Logan are extremely attracted to one another from the first moment he notices her belly button ring. She distrusts men after the lessons of her mother and though she wants him, Scarlett keeps pulling away from Logan, driving him crazy. He already knows her reputation for eccentricity, but still wants her. The former Vegas cop becomes even more wary as Scarlett continues her several years quest to prove the Chief of Police, her stepfather, drove her mother crazy ultimately causing her death.

Fans of romantic suspense starring an offbeat Miss Marple wannabe will gain much enjoyment from Patti Berg's latest intrigue. The story line is at its stratospheric pinnacle during the scenes in which the two lead protagonists are together or the three geriatric amateur sleuths abet Scarlett on her inquiries. Though the woody climax seems abruptly out of kilter, readers will appreciate this delightful story and anxiously await the next Plentiful novel starring the author of the Jayne books.

Summary: Great Book!!!
Review: This is my first book by Patti Berg, but it won't be my last. Las Vegas ex-cop Logan Wolfe escapes his demons and relocates to the peaceful little town of Plentiful, Wyoming. He keeps a low profile, only telling people that he's retired. He meets bookstore owner Scarlett O'Malley. She's instantly attracted to the gorgeous ex-cop and he's facinated by her sexy petite body and cute belly button ring. Scarlett on the other hand, along with four nosey elderly women who visits her bookstore regularly, has already been spying on Logan. They think he's a gigolo, because he's been seen with another wealthy elderly woman, (Opal). Then a unidentified woman visits Scarlett's store while she's hitting on Logan, in addition to urging him to purchase some books. After he leaves the unidentified woman collapes and dies. Scarlett's stepfather Adam Grant (Chief of Police) enters on to the scene to investigate. Scarlett has her suspicions about Adam because she believes he had something to do with her mother's death and she doesn't like him. Scarlett starts her own private investigating of Logan, because one of the elderly sleuths, tells her that she saw him carry something that might have been Opal's body wrapped in carpet out of the wealthy woman's house. (You'll definitely enjoy the chapter where Scarlett breaks into Logan's house escaping two Grizzly bears, and you'll also like the following chapter.) Now in addition to a dead unidentfied woman, Opal is missing and the sleuths think Logan killed her, but Scarlett is doubtful. Scarlett and Logan start a relationship and he opens up to her about his past, then they team up to figure out what the hell is going on in Plentiful, Wyoming. the Anyway, this book is funny, sexy, suspenseful and an all around good read, you will not want to put it down.

Summary: Great Fun!!!
Review: This is the first book I have read by Patti Berg and it won't be the last. I don't know what I loved the most--Logan and Scarlett, the Sleuths, or Toby the dog. All in all, it was just good old fun!
