Summary: Haven't finished yet...
Review: Although I have just begun reading this book (if chapter eight can be considered the begining) I am still thoroughly enjoying it. For me personally, I am enjoying this book because it didn't take the whole begining to get into it like other books I have read--it's right to the point. If you don't enjoy novels that get right to the point and that take a while to get into, then I don't think that you would like this book. This book also has some time travel, so if you think that this is too far fetched an idea, then I again would not recommend that you read it. I am looking forward to reading the rest of this book and the sequel..Times Change (Part two of this book(this book is a 2-4-1)) and and can still happily say that it is still worth five stars that I have given it.

Summary: An oldie but a goodie
Review: Although this was originally two books published by Roberts years ago, she hit another home run by combining them. I thought this book was one of her best. I wish they were all this size so it would take longer for me to read them!

Summary: So, So
Review: At first this story caught my attention. I liked the sci-fi stuff even though I am not a sci-fi reader. It was hard to buy the story line though of a young 20 something virgin who gave it up for this stranger who is stuck in time. He was your typical man with sexual tension. Then when I was convinced of that stuff, here comes these parents that I could have done without. The way they are connected with the future is neat, but I didn't care for the characters. I never finished it and gave it away. It lost my attention.

Summary: Enjoyable!
Review: Certainly not one of Nora Roberts' best efforts but an enjoyable read. These stories were originally published more than a decade ago but they are still fun, light reads. Of course, I'd read Nora's shopping list if given the opportunity so . . .

Summary: BOOORRRING!
Review: Don't waste your time with this book. I decided to read it because of the time travel plot. What a mistake. It's completely superficial and not at all imaginative. The characters are one-dimensional and not particularly admirable. There's a great deal of time spent on poorly written sexual encounters. The book is not at all believable. There are far better romantic time travel books. For instance, Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series.

Summary: Time Travel Is A Reality in Two Romantic Love Stories
Review: I am a fan of Nora Roberts' mainstream fiction, but I had never read one of her romance books. A friend insisted I read this since she considered it not only a great romance but also because of the interesting aspect of time travel. After reading all 505 pages, some highly interesting and some not so interesting, I think I will stick with her mainstream work.

Now, don't get me wrong. The book was enjoyable. If you can accept the idea of time travel and believe that two men from the 23rd century find their way to 1990's Oregon, you are in for a treat. The humor of their situation is played beautifully. Their inability to manipulate a stove, recognize a radio, or understand current phrases is comical. The sexual tension is great with many, many pages devoted to sexual attraction and union, the cutting edge of erotic writing that has made Nora Roberts beloved by millions.

The book appears to be a compilation of two previous works. In the first, "Time Was," Caleb Hornblower is sucked into a black hole and finds himself at a mountain cabin in Oregon, the residence of one Liberty (Libby) Stone. The attraction is immediate, the sex passionate, and the ending extremely romantic. In the second book,"Times Change," Caleb's brother Jacob comes to fetch him home. Since Caleb and Libby are on vacation, the only person he finds at the cabin is Libby's sister Sunbeam (Sunny) who is spending some time alone and deciding what to do with the rest of her life. Jacob and Sunny have a feisty yet passionate affair that will probably come to an end when he leaves to return to the 23rd century. Or will it? Can two smart and savvy women find love with men who will be born long after the women will die? Can flying in and out of black holes and going from century to century really be possible? Can the reader accept any of this and find the story satisfying? To a great extent, yes. My only complaint is that there is much repetition and the story goes on about 200 pages too long. Nora has been blessed with better editing and tighter writing in her later books. However, this one is definitely worth reading if you are a fan of her romances.
