Rating: Summary: Couldn't put this book down! Read it at least 10 times. Review: This is my all-time favourite book! The first time I read it, I couldn't put it down and read it all through the night. It's an intense, beautifully stirring book that has every kind of emotion that is possible to feel. It has made me laugh, it has made me teary. Everyone deserves to read a masterpiece like this.
Rating: Summary: all through the night Review: this is my first book of c. brockway and I'm dissapointed ,tough I'm just going to read "as you desire" , becouse I've read its reviews and it's very favourable . I dislikes this book becouse I hate when people use sex and love like a weapon against other people and it's what I saw in Jack seward and anne miller 's attitude . they want to have power one on other in order to get their purposes.
Rating: Summary: A jewel thief and a spy-- let the fun begin. Review: This one is definitely an enjoyable read. I found both the hero and the heroine interesting as opposed to most novels where either one or the other is interesting but rarely both. There is enough humor to satisfy a Brockway fan, but this time there is more sadness beneath the surface. Nicely developed characters and a well deserved happy ending. Definitely worth the effort.
Rating: Summary: Not recommended at all Review: This was my first and last book of Connie Brockway. I chose it due to the great reviews I read, but it turned to be a great disappointment. There is no action, the plot is dull and both characters (Jack and Anne) lacked the daring, passion and sensuality I seek in romance novels. Mark my words if you ever buy this book.
Rating: Summary: Hot, hot, hot! Review: This was my first Connie Brockway, and it has me hooked for life. The burglar-heroine is brave and intelligent, and the sexual obsession she shares with the hero is so hot the book sizzles! I was panting for these people to get together, and that scene where he teased her while she was in the chair ... wow! Lovers of Linda Howard will adore this book. A must buy!
Rating: Summary: Best Romance I've Read All Year! Review: Truly extraordinary, Connie Brockway lifts the romance to an art form with this book. The characters have incredible depth. Though both are "wounded," they act as real human beings and not mere functions of their pasts. Not for those who like only light-hearted, predictable books.
Rating: Summary: WOW! Review: Well, I liked both "My Dearest Enemy" and "A Dangerous Man" (two of her other books) very much, but this was fantastic! I literally couldn't put it down. Great characters with unusual motivations for their actions. Loved it!
Rating: Summary: All I can say is...WOW!!! Review: What an amazing book!! I loved the plot, the characters, Ms. Brockway's writing style...everything just fell into place...and the sex scenes were sooo steamy!! WHEW!!! Jack was such a compelling mixture of strength, vulnerability, and controlled sexuality ...you just want to scoop him up from the pages and make him your own...Anne was fantastically brave and self sufficiant....I HIGHLY recommend reading this...FABULOUS story!!!!
