Review: ...refreshingly deep characters. Yeager and Zoe both ahve some very serious hang-ups, though I did think that Yeager had the right to be more bitter than he was. His blindness created an interesting hitch, as did her inability to leave the island. The secondary characters were equally fun and rich, though not numerous. Even "Dolly" Yeager's inflatable companion had her contributions. Definitely buy it and read it!

Review: Abrigo Island. Never heard of it? Well believe me, once you've read this book, you'll want to go back again and again. Is it truely enchanted, or does Christie Ridgway just make it seem that way? What are Zoe's secrets, and why is she always the bridemaid and never the bride? This is the type of book that will make you laugh right out loud on one page and cry on the next. You've got to catch the ferry to the island to find the answers and the fun. Then when you've finished reading it you'll wish you'd been there too!

Zoe Cash has had some hard years and now plans to stay on her island she loves and stay safe and healthy. Never before has she fallen in love but she enjoys being the 'Island Matchmaker'. When Yeager Gates and his friend Deke come to her island she has plans to fix them up with single friends of hers. Never did she expect to find herself falling in love. Christie Ridgway has written a wonderful, moving contemporary that will surely grab the readers heart and wish the story to go on and on and on. Highly recommended

Review: Aside from author Christie Ridgway, I have to offer my thanks to the editors at Amazon.com for this recommendation. I devoured this book in a day. On the bus, on my lunch hour, during dinner, after dinner...well, you get the picture. I mean, what more could you wish for in a romance novel? A super,sexy ex-astronaut, his big-wig NASA pal, and a pair of beautiful, joined-at-the-hip sisters, who run the Islands Bed and Breakfast Inn, set smack in the middle of a lush, fairy tale Island in the Pacific. No deep, twisting plots or dangerous villians here, just hours of pure escapist pleasure. A true love story -through and through. I will most definately be seeking our more books by Ms. Ridgway, and know that "Wish You Were Here" will be joing the good old 'keeper' shelf of my personal library. It is total enjoyment,just as perfect for your day at the beach, as for a rainy afternoon trapped indoors. This is one book you'll never regret buying.

Review: I almost missed this book! I decided to purchase it afterreading the many rave reviews. I'm sure glad that I did notmiss out on this wonderful story. This book contains humor, two romantic relationships, some sad moments and sensual, sexy love scenes. Zoe Cash and her sister Lyssa live on Abrigo Island . Zoe considers herself the unofficial matchmaker for this beautiful island. This is truly a delightful read. Enjoy the fireworks and fun. I look forward to Christie's next book. END

Review: I didn't want this book to end, LOVED IT! LOVED IT! Waiting on the next book from Christie Ridgway. The story of the sisters struggle with cancer, their parents death, when love is meant to happen. The sistesr are the true heros of this book. Great job with this one!
