Rating: Summary: I'm not convinced Review: I loved the book "All that and a bag of chips". While I thought the author definitely had room for some growth, I found the plot to be riveting and her descriptions to be appealing. I developed a true reaction to each character. I was excited to hear about the sequel and now that I have read it I am disappointed. I am a person who loves HAPPY endings and for things to go the main characters way, but COME ON... it was sooo unrealistic. I liked the ideas of where she went with the characters there is definitely a need for more action in the plot. Her sophmoric attempt was still that of a freshman.
Rating: Summary: Administrative Assistant Review: I loved this book so much, I read it in one day. Then went to see if there was a sequel. I enjoyed the people, thier professions, their heartaches, but most of all their togetherness, their family values. If you need to ever know that things happen or you will eventually get yours, then this book is for you. I strongly suggest that you read first, "All that and a Bag of Chips". Its one continueous love story with great twists and turns along the way. After reading and enjoying and crying and re-reading pages, you may think, I've Been There, Done That" only to know that, "What Goes Around, Comes Around".
Rating: Summary: Thank you, Thank You, Thank You!! Review: I picked up this book and "All That and A Bag of Chips" at the same time. I was excited to find out that the story of Venice, Craig, and Jarvis continues. I was very pleased with this one just as I was the first one. Even if you haven't read the prequel, this book stands on it's own as a good book. A few people said that "All That...." was too long and to full of detail, but I think that in order to FULLY understand the love that Craig and Venice share and to understand the reason that it was so easy for her family to accept her moving on and accepting Craig, so soon you had to FEEL and EXPRIENCE the love (in detail) from the prequel. Now I have to read "What Goes Around, Comes Around." Can't wait!
Rating: Summary: Great Read Review: I read All That and a Bag of Chips and it held my attention. I thought that it drug on a little bit, but I still enjoyed it. I had purchased "Been There Done That" without reading "All That..." first. I was so happy that I had "Been There...." already on the shelf becasue as soon as I finished "All That..." I picked up "Been There...". I enjoyed "Been There..." so much, I stayed up half the night and read the first 100 pages. I couldn't wait to read what was going on with Craig and Venice. I got up the next morning and read more. The only thing that stopped me from finishing the book was the fact I had to go to work. When I got home from work, I didn't even turn on the TV, I had to finish the book. I loved it. I gobbled it up so fast, I was angry that the story was over. I went back and reread some chapters. I can't wait for "What Comes Goes Around, Comes Around"

Rating: Summary: Once again you have did it Review: I read this book in one day and it was fabulous. In the first book, All That And A Bag Of Chips kept me going, and I was just waiting on the second book, Been There, Done That, and I must say this was a well put together book. I'm glad Craig and Venice did get together in the end. Now I'm waiting for book 3, can't wait, I know it's gonna be the da-bomb.
Rating: Summary: Been There and Done A Great Job a Second Time Around Review: I read this book within five hours of its release and loved it. It was a spectacular ending and what everyone was waiting for. Once again, Lee has done a fabulous job in showcasing the love, intelligence and exciting lives of African Americans. Keep up the good work.
Rating: Summary: Great book Review: I thought this book picked up perfectly from where "All that and a Bag of Chips" left off. My eyes filled with tears constantly as Craig repeated his undying love for Venice and as she did for him. I feel Darrien Lee did the sequel justice.
Rating: Summary: Been There, Done That Review: I waited a year for this book and it was worth it! I was sad to read that Jarvis had died but I realized that Venice and Craig had a love that would not die and should have been together in the end! I thought that Lee was clever in how she wrote Jarvis as Venice's "guardian angel". This book is well worth the read. Not many of us can say we've had two chances at great loves!
Rating: Summary: SHE DID IT AGAIN Review: I waited for this book for a year and im glad I did this book was great I read it in 3 hours. I was also happy with the ending after the first book I was upset but Darrien made up for it in this book. KUDOS GURLLLLL keep up the good work can't wait for the 3rd book!!!
