Rating: Summary: Paranormal Love Story Review: ANGELS by Gwendolyn R Morris is a paranormal romantic suspense novel. Kayla Hazelwood and Dr. Connor Biantagglia are interesting characters.Kayla is a forensic psychologist who's been called in by the police to assist in solving a case involving strange murders. The murders are so bizarre that she needs the assistant of Connor, a paranormal psychologist. From the moment these two meet, sparks fly. They share a love of the human mind and that's where their similarities end. They come from two different cultures and economical backgrounds. However, the strange happenings pull them closer together. Their lives are in jeopardy as they attempt to save not only themselves but the world from any more horrendous crimes caused by these supernatural forces. If you're into the paranormal, I would highly recommend ANGELS. If you aren't, Ms. Morris has done such a great job making the supernaturla genre so enjoyable that you are going to become a fast fan of it. Readincolor Reviewers Shelia Goss

Rating: Summary: Angels Review: ANGELS conjures up the beauty and spiritual nature that these heavenly beings are, however, in this story angels are demons as well as the lost spirits of the dead. With romance as a backdrop, the author takes us on a paranormal course in mysticism, danger and sensual romance. The story begins with a murder victim with unusual puncture marks on his neck. Ameil Le Dutierre, the lead detective in the case, realizes he has no true leads and people are still dying, so he does not object to our heroine, Kayla Hazelwood, an African-American psychologist, being enlisted to help solve these crimes. Even after following a lead to an underground gothic club, the two find they need more assistance because what they are dealing with may not be human. They are led to Dr. Connor Biantagglia, a paranormal psychologist. The three set out on a course to stop the destruction, but along the way something unusual happens to Ameil, and they realize they must solve the murders alone. The forces they are dealing with are beyond Kayla's comprehension, but Connor reassures her that they will solve these unique serial murders. As Kayla and Connor continue to work together, sparks of romance ignite between the two. They are drawn to each other by lust but find spiritual love is within their grasps. They partner not only to demystify paranormal occurrences but to strengthen their love. ANGELS was a very different read. The paranormal events, demonic sacrifices and ghosts of lost souls are not the usual elements in a romantic story; however, it really helped to make the story interesting. The novel is a bit difficult to sustain your attention in the beginning, but it does improve with perseverance. The author wants you to really feel the romance between the two main characters, but because of the weak character development and at times stilted dialogue, the romance is stiff and unbelievable. The lust generated by the characters was more believable. While the romance was one-dimensional, the paranormal essence of the story was great. Reviewed by Cashana Seals of The RAWSISTAZ Reviewers

Rating: Summary: Unusual Review: I enjoyed this book with its unusual format. It was romantic and exciting. The love scenes were hot without being pornographic. I look forward to additional work by this author. I also enjoyed her book Nubian Passion.
Rating: Summary: Angels Review: I saw this and then special ordered this book since I really enjoy reading books of interracial romance and fiction , I was extremely dissapointed in this book . The writing was below what I have come to expect and wish to see from any author. The story in and of itself was not bad .. But the Authors use of language leaves something to be desired and I hope that it improves before another book is written
