Rating: Summary: wonderful exploration Review: Poignant exploration of the rugged emotional terrain of adult relationships. I found the characters to be captivating and believable. I was really touched by the realism.
Rating: Summary: FANTASTIC Review: This book had me turning page after page trying to see how she would outdo herself. Darlene wrote As We Lay exceptionally well, and asked not just married people, but people in general the question, 'how well do you know the one you love?' I could not put down this book to see what Breck, Eric, and my personal favorite, Chi, (Kie), were going to do next. This is a fabulous read for any and everybody.
Rating: Summary: Pretty Good Book Review: This book was well-written, and one of the best I've read in a long time. I do not condone infidelity, he should have made a choice. It was a difficult situation for all parties. I highly recommend you read this book.
Rating: Summary: From both sides of the fence... Review: This novel was disturbingly compelling. It conjured up negative feelings being a wife of someone who has strayed. I was also very true because being in love with one and married to another is a very hard thing to do. When realizing you have married the wrong one, what do you do? I got really sick of Breck's whining and tantrums. She came in eyes wide open. It also looks better from the other side of the fence and protecting your heart is not easy business. She could have avoided it but then, we not have had a book to enjoy. Read it for yourself and get in touch with the emotions it brings to surface.
Rating: Summary: SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT Review: This was a very good book with a very good twist. When I first began to read the book it bored me with to much dialogue but as the story went on it just got better and better. The story was very insightful to me as a woman - I don't condone having an affair but it diminished alot of stereotypes that I had regarding women that deal with married men. I recommend this book especially to any woman that is trying to keep her man!
